Check out Undo (Part 1) for the guy's perspective. I wanted to explore the other side of the story to "Undo." If one person is desperately wishing they could rewind time, what is the person sitting next to them in that silent car actually feeling? I wrote the lyrics to fit a similar rhyming scheme and rhythm as the original, so it feels like a true remake or a direct reply. It’s a song about the finality of words and the point where "sorry" just isn't enough.
