Every day for him is the same,

Ladies of the night know him well,

TheStatic Past & Future

"Static" were playing the music
and owned repertoire of songs that were under the influence of a crossover music. The first
author's songs appeared as Broken, Past and Future. In 2004. the band recorded a garage gig
with four tunes, with that we opened many doors of a domestic musical scene. There were
gigs across Serbia. "Static" were playing as preceding group to such bands as D.L.M., Negative,
Orthodox Celts, El.Orgazam, Bajaga & instructors...

An year later there were different interests in the band and therefore changes. In the following
period "Static" existed as an instrumental band of three members (as now). The consequence
of a withdrawal off the stage, as thay had no singers, was an appearance of many author's
works which would appear later on the album. In summer of 2005. the band met Drazen
Vukazic, whose musical interests where the same as of the trio. A new and the present forma-
tion of a band:

- Drazen - vocal and guitar,
- Dule - Solo guitar,
- Vuja - bass,
- Veka - drums.
"Static" started making the author's works which was inspired by Grunge and post Post gru-
nge music. They entered the studio in 2006. and recorded first lbum called "Thoughts like a
puzzle". The album was recorded in the studio "Sedlic" in Pozarevac. After finishing recording,
the band started performing and playing across the country, in significant places and on vario-
us demo festivals, such as "Gitarijade", Demo Fest KG, Battle of the Bands...
The sequence of gathering audience and promoting album, is supported and helped by famous
clubs: Fest (Belgrade), Mojo Club (Senta), Hard Rock Caffe (Kragujevac), KB (Pozarevac),
Stone (Kragujevac), Youth Centre (Kragujevac), Floyd (Becej), Youth Centre (Belgrade),
Route 66(Novi Sad)... Those are the places where the band usually performs. Besides that kind
of performing, "Static" also appears on tribute gigs with thre differente styles: "Grunge Night"
(Pearl Jam, Creed, Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Staind), tribute to Pearl Jam and tribute to Metallica. These days
"Static"
is performing around the whole country.
