Since I was born I felt attracted to music and listen to almost all genres. In 1990 I fell in love with electronic music, started dreaming of spinning vinyl and bought my first records. I had access to equipment, but was too shy and nervous to pursue my dream.

In 2015 I started again, this time with digital DJing. First as DJane Octavia, I was playing Deep House, House and Tech House, and later also Techno, Hard Techno, Acid Techno and Industrial Techno. When I started playing techno, I got more recognition. I had the honour to perform on different radio shows and began to publish these sets on Soundcloud and Mixcloud: BASSINJECTION, CUEBASE-FM.DE, SHB-Showcase, Planet X and CLUBIO PRESENT FORWARD, Natural Instinct.

Since December 2017 I use DJane Octavia only for the other genres, and have a new name for techno: DJane Darkness. Since October 2019 I am a resident DJ for Keepers of the Labyrinth.
