Now we already know that you’re hooked. So we have decided to create some kind of trilogy, after all - Third time’s a charm! There are constant debates about crisis, dead-end solutions and the inability to see a bright future. However, micro oppositions to the mainstream culture and structure do appear in reality, you just have to look carefully and open your ears. If that is not sufficient enough, Stefan Gøransson, aka Dj Flexus, will guide you to the most beautiful alternative zone – Christiania Selection vol. 3! This third trip to this enchanting magical dimension will fill you with energies, spirit and inspiration to break from the old formulas you were so used to and create something new, something fresh, something better. 

We open up the loop-time-hole into Christiania Selection vol. 3 with Morten Granau & Flexus that generate a Green Light District. The Metronome that continues the hues of light gives a special kind of Orange, remodelled by Ma’co. All these different colours beam you into a Lightsphere where most humans become Barefoot and Happy, you can witness that in Flexus interpretation to it! It is easily mistaken for a Fantasy created by Estefano Haze or an Acid Test by Avshi. However, this is something quite different. We are dealing with another Space in Time, which is basically a Simply Wave of various frequencies produced in a specific order. They might cause some kind of Illumination by Lifeforms that have been found by Osher. But this can be supplemented by a Digital Regeneration of a special Opposite8. Therefore, once you will consume the Static Virus you will be rejoiced that it was the famous powerful contagion spread by Static Movement and Cyrus the Virus. Mainly because this is the answer to keep on staying in the Temporary Autonomous Zone called Chriatiania Selection.

Static Movement has had music running through his veins since he was born in Ukraine 1984 as Shahar Shtrikman. Inspired by his talented Mother’s piano playing, Shahar too was playing this classic instrument at the tender age of six.  In 1990 he moved to Tel Aviv, Israel with his family. A few years later in 1996 some friends introduced him to Trance music, and it wasn’t long until Shahar was using the program  ‘Impulse Tracker’ to produce his own music under his first act name ‘Impulser’.

Wanting to further improve his skills, Shahar later studied sound engineering, whilst simultaneously gaining lots of hands on experience working for Oz Studios; recording Rock & Metal music via a combination of analog and digital equipment. 

By 2011 his act ‘Static Movement’ was born. It was through beautiful melodies, captivating story telling, and high sound quality production skills that Static Movement became hugely successful. Shahar was able to express his intense deep feelings into the music and create his magical signature sound; that resonated with so many. The release of 6 albums (‘Circle of ‘Life, ‘Sol’, ‘Sian’, ‘Simin’, ‘Voices from Heaven’ and ‘Underwater’), more than 100 tracks on major labels including: Iono Music, Iboga Records, Spintwist Records, Blue Tunes Records and his own label Sol Records, collaboration singles with legends of the scene like Ranji, Sesto Sesto, Cosmic Tone and Gaudium; as well as remixing for high calibre artists; Morten Granau, Liquid Soul, Protonica  and Vini Vici; has solidified Static Movement as a stable headlining act in the scene; playing gigs all over the world.

In 2019 he embarked on a new and independent path to build artists and release music for them as well as his own music - and for this reason his label Sol Records was created. The first release on the label was with the album Simin, named after Shahar’s wife.  This epic label releases music showcasing the entire spectrum of psy-trance and techno; from 125-150bpm, and has released close to 400 tracks to date; and proved to be an amazing platform promoting artists from across the Globe. 

In 2020 Shahar also opened an artist agency called Beta Music. Building on the trust created with numerous artists and event producers over the years around the world - Shahar has successfully created a large network of booking agencies, label managers, event producers, artists and DJs who cooperate with each other in harmony and friendship  - with music being the catalyst that unites them all.

And in 2023 Shahar and his wife began a production called Children of the Sun. The  name came from the idea that Shahar’s music illuminates and also the fact that all of Shahar’s family have names that begin with the letter S in English. His wife Simin, eldest daughter Sol, son Sian, and youngest daughter Sun. Shahar has made an album for each of them, and really feels that ‘we are all children of the Sun’.  They have done over 10 events in Israel, and hosted the best leading artists in the world such as Ranji, Whitenoize, Berg, Reality Test, Z-cat, along with other artists from the label and agency. The production was established out of the need and desire to give a stage to budding artists; to help promote them and their music and give them a rare and real opportunity to showcase their talent! 

The fact that along with nurturing his own career, Shahar has created these additional platforms to help others - is a testament to the unwavering passion, pure dedication and raw love that Shahar aka Static Movement has for music!
