“Golden Ruins” is the first collaboration between the two Italian music projects meanwhile.in.texas [Angelo Guido] and Rooms Delayed [Vincenzo Nazzaro], born out of the common intention to freely experiment with six strings, reverbs and resonant feelings.

The album was recorded in September/December 2017 between Brindisi and Bologna, Italy, using two electric guitars and cables, mics, E-bow and self-built effects pedals.

One word, one track to describe seven phases of a common life. From Birth to Death, we're just dust, ruins made of gold.

Lunescapes Volume One  (to be released late March 2018 via The Satellite Union & Psychic Troubles Tapes) will be Jeff's first full-length, solo release. Recorded at home (mostly in the kitchen, on a sometimes unruly upright piano) the Lunescapes offer a series of instrumental vignettes, intimate landscapes, and lo-fi fantasies. The writing and recording for volume two  is ongoing and will be finished later in 2018.

Angelo Harmsworth has a way of making sounds collide like no other, creating aural tapestries that range from ecstatic serenity to angelic turmoil. 

Vaagner is honoured to be having him contribute two extended pieces for Vaknar. 

Originally commissioned by Vaagner for the Sonic environments group show, which took place in London on the 26th of April, 2018.

Piano Works is the second installment of Lucy Claire’s ‘Works’ series. It is an eclectic take on what piano music can be. Featuring cellist Ren Ford (Keaton Henson’s Romantic Works) and violinist Marie Schreer (The Royal Northern Sinfonia) and surrounded in atmospheric binaural soundscapes, the piano is far from lonely. The work features a collection of pianos from grands and uprights, to electric keyboards, toy and thumb pianos. It is grounded in the real world but hints strongly at the magical and supernatural, it absorbs, transports, then delivers you back to reality with new perspective.

"Science philosopher Karl Popper put forth the idea that the world could be divided into two categories: clocks and clouds. Clocks are fixed, orderly systems that can be understood by reducing them to their simplest parts. Clouds are, however an 'epistemic mess...' that are 'highly irregular, disorderly, and more or less unpredictable.' This adage was used to illustrate the dilemma of both science (and, I think in daily life) to approach all things as though they were clocks. We want to give nature (and people) a blueprint. But this approach is destined to bring nothing but frustration. The cosmos, its phenomenon, and people are much more like clouds than clocks."

The expanded double CD re-issue of The Licence To Interpret Dreams will be released late August / early September 2018. The original multitracks have been refreshed to give a new life to the album. Alongside this there is an additional CD, which features remixes by Marconi Union, Hummingbird, The Humble Bee, Tape Loop Orchestra, Peter Jørgensen, Ben Chatwin, Ian Hawgood, Aaron Martin, Olan Mill, Bill Seaman, Field Rotation, Antonymes and Clem Leek. The remixes are very special and the whole thing has been lovingly remastered by James Plotkin.

This very limited album comes out on the wonderful Fluid Audio imprint and will include a 24 page perfect bound book housed in a heavyweight card sleeve.

Here's a sneak preview, the Antonymes remix which takes elements from several tracks on the original album.

Back in 2016, Fabian Rosenberg was attempting to find, for the very first time, his voice as a composer and producer. He wanted to become familiar with the piano and to create an identity away from the trumpet and jazz. The result of this exploration was a collection of four instrumental pieces rooted in contemporary classical music, with ambient textures, and electronic and experimental resources.
