Overly ambitiously titled song I found on my computer, that I'd made one day in 2011.  There is some bad clipping on the guitar track, sorry.  It's kind of a joke of a song, but I like the basic concept.  Perhaps I will return to this theme someday, when I'm better at composing--  there is an aspect of it that is almost slapstick, like an old silent movie, but the guitar is very etherial.  It's kind of like the beginning of the 20th century meets the end.

this is another track from 2011  it is actually just the piano track taken out of a song i made with some other tracks, but i think i prefer just the piano by itself for now (though it's a little repetitive)

This one is from 2012. Recorded on Logic Pro 8, with an acoustic guitar, softsynths, and Logic's "tape delay" plugin doing some weird stuff to the drums.

From 2012, on Logic Pro 8.  I tried to get the softsynth on Logic to sound as much as I could like a "mellotron" type of thing.  A little repetitive but a nice "lost track" of mine.

This isn't really finished but I uploaded it because my dear Gin Martini wanted to remix it, and that was the easiest way to share the file from my phone.  Made on NanoStudio for iPhone.  I had it private, but thought I might as well put it public.  I kinda like how it sounds.

I made this song while I did my laundry today, entirely on NanoStudio for the iPhone.  I kinda fudged the ending; I meant to fade it out a little slower.  Ah well, maybe one day when I'm on wifi I'll re-upload it.  I think it's ok for now.

I have decided to go through my audio files and upload some old tracks that I haven't posted before.
This track was recorded in Logic Pro 8 using a mix of softsynths and my Roland AX60 synthesizer.
It was just a quick experiment I made, when I was first learning how to control the automations on various Logic parameters in real time, but it ended up coming out kind of cool, and to me it evokes science fiction or post apocalyptic sentiments.

Irrelevant Empire (instrumental)

I've decided to go through some of my old audio files and post some tracks I haven't posted before.
This is an instrumental song that I used to always play at my shows.  It is all based around my dearly missed Alesis MidiVerb rack effect.  I created this great guitar sound, which is a mix of reverb, chorus, delay, and I don't remember what else.. And I've never been able to quite recreate that sound on any of the many racks I've gotten since then.  Alesis has a special kind of reverb sound that I really like.

This is just one guitar track (Fender Jaguar Baritone) going into the Alesis Midiverb, and a Korg Electribe drum machine track.  Recorded on a digital multitrack recorder I used to have..  Since then, my Midiverb, the Electribe, and the multitrack have all gone kaput!  So much money down the drain, but also, so many cool sounds that I can't quite recreate with my bare bones DAWs I'm working with now.  I think it's time to get some more gear, or at least some new software...  SOON...
