Her fastidious selections and skill on the decks are nothing short of legendary, providing experiences that rumble and vibrate with mystical power, characterised by a raw intensity and fragile balance between ‘harmony and disharmony, clarity and distortion’, a testament to the transformative nature of the genre and her keen understanding of it. She’s a Tresor resident and curator of the OMM Transmission Podcast and party series, an outlet for further explorations into the murky world of this defiant sound. Productions too have offered a glimpse into the shifting sands of her percussive mayhem with releases on Semantica Records, Aneelhi and Pregnant Void. Toxido’s paradigm has found form wherever possible and proven her singular vision can constantly change and provoke. Bassiani Podcast 274 is a dose of primal techno that radiates and consumes its listener, expansive and potent beats from a formidable talent.

South African artist Deano grew up immersed in his local music scene, shaping a diverse sound that moves between house and techno. Beyond producing solo EPs on labels like Hardgroove, Symbolism, AWRY and Sungate, he runs the label and events platform Knowledge Imprint, known for pushing forward both emerging talents and respected veterans.

Deano is a resident at Cape Town’s Mødular Club and a regular at Johannesburg’s TOY TOY. Known for a versatile selection spanning house to techno, he’s played across South Africa’s leading festivals and taken his sound to clubs in Berlin, Tokyo, Lisbon and beyond.

TF #066: Agnosia [Dust Rec] - Spain

Agnosia, a duo formed by Eric and Miguel, producers with a long way behind the decks and productions.  Started on music scene 7 years ago, My Bloody Valentine, Joy Division, Slowdive or Explosions in the sky are some of the inspirations of his personal “vision” of music. Now, with this project, they want to explore the atmospheric side of music.  Always walking between techno, shoegaze or post-rock, they started to produce 5 years ago, trying to show his personal way of music.

The music of Agnosia wants to innovate in the techno fields, adding some new ways with new elements and architectures in the compositions they do. Progressive to the end tracks, forcefulness and deep kicks and basslines, and some guitar distortions and effects to made epic the melodies they build.
Now, they have published his first Album on Dust REC. “Motion and Emotion”, focused in the experimentation with drones, textures and atmospheres but mixed with really forcefulness hypnotic grooves they will drive us crazy. 

"What’s happening? It's warm inside... She told me a reason, a reason to live. 

Where are my echoes? The rainfall from my friends, the pain fades into atmospheres, the void it’s comfortable, and me... I’m losing my head."

Born in Spain, Juan Rico is a DJ who has rapidly attained the recognition other artists have taken a long time to gain. He marks his birth as a DJ about 1997, but it wasn’t until his first release in 2002 under the Swedish label Emergence that he became known professionally.  He has shown his quality skills recording for emerging imprints like Pole Recordings, Wolfskuil Records, and his very own Architectural label. 

The set, nearly two hours long was recorded at Bassiani as part of the Wolfskuil Records Night. It's a well-executed mix that focuses especially on the dark, ambient textures, crosscut with hints of hypnotic Dub techno. 
Displaying his impeccable taste in music, Architectural crosses varied musical fields, offers deep and adventurous mix contrasted with dancefloor edge.
