We first heard about Lyon-based producer 8er$ about 3 years ago, after the release of ‘Dancefloor’. Being one of the main pioneers of the trap genre he has build quite the impressive catalog, including collaborations with the likes of Tomsize, Yookie, Matstubs, and many many more. We’ve been huge fans of all his work and of course we are very happy to present ‘Stackin’ as 8er$ first release on Tribal Trap! Together with Crichy Crich, whose catalog is just as impressive, Stackin is yet another stamp on the scene by these two artists.

The new EP on Saturn Return is produced by Rowee and Nuiton and is a quality piece of music. ‘Lost Forest’ is a surreal march through a range of metaphorical textures. Endless permutations of rhythm, beat, percussion and a caustic voice are the main elements for more than 10 minutes. An additional acid synth finally emerges, breaking the rules of the beat. It’s romantic, hypnotic and strikes the perfect balance between angular rhythms and dreamy melodies. ‘Description of a Dream’ exudes ethereal patterns and nature like sounds. The prominent bassline includes plenty of water drops and build ups... this track seems to stretch out endlessly into the distance.

Bargun is a ten-minute tale, brimming in mystical energy. Opening with an intricate rhythm, the track develops with sparkling melody, ethereal chords and lullaby chimes that will have dancefloor revellers closing their eyes whilst induced under  SIS ’s spell.
