During my final year of my Bachelors Degree in Music and Technology, I decided to create a study and an imitation of one of my favourite albums of all time - Madvilliany. 
My goal was to emulate Madlib’s eclectic sampled-based production style alongside acapella MF DOOM vocals sourced online. 

Halfway through the project, on December 31st - the apex of a truly challenging year - it was announced by DOOM’s family that he had passed away on October 31st the same year. Like so many, I was deeply saddened by the news - MF DOOM was an artist and a villain like no other. I spent the rest of the project hoping to honour and tribute the best MC without a chain we’ve ever heard.
