A place, undiscovered, nobody around. Help is on the way, guided by horns over drums, synths over bass. As you make your way through a paradise carnival in this off planet world. Summers are white, winters are green.

Impatient, as we are, we had to hear their stories. Skillfully combining influences, sounds and experiences from east and west, they translated their stories to a new EP, oozing with drama, melancholy and determination.

The EP describes itself as the soundtrack for an adventure to mysterious outskirts around the globe, starting with 'Whale Parade'. This prelude brings you to a hidden land after wandering through forests for many months. Guitar, piano and percussion gently move in and carry you away. By the second track, All Day I Zama, a slow beat dictated by a banket of percussion evolves to a vigorous and groovy track with moaning vocals as the main theme.

In title track Gold Town, you will settle yourself in a covered wagon, heading for dodgy settlements on a misty mountain range, accompanied by a grieving trumpet.

As the wagon slows to a crawl, Ghajar emerges, a downtempo emotion-filled song, where the piano and a scorching synth interchange melodies and tales."

The forthcoming single from Stavroz's third EP on Moodfamily "Bleached Flamingo EP" is an
emotional rollercoaster. As a threatening wave, violins rush to you in the opening moments
and lay down a foundation on which a deceiving seven count groove comfortably settles. An
upsetting atmosphere haunts you through the first minutes. Until halfway, the song suddenly
blossoms when a weeping synth starts the theme and paves the way for the saxophone to take
over effortlessly. Together, they conclude the song in unison, delighted to have found each
other.

It summons the strange behavior that appears in people in clubs or at festivals at dawn. The energy that awakens you to keep you in close range of the subwoofers. If it's addiction, then we better get admitted. Because that last drink ... Isn't actually your last drink. Your car in the parking lot will be switched for a taxi, or for a walk to the nearby house of a friend. And slowly but steadily, the realization sinks in... You'll be home on Monday, not on Sunday.. Time travel completed.

"Separated" won first prize in the Prestigious International Songwrting Contest, judged by a.o. Tom Waits and Suzanne Vega.

Our version is a little sunnier than the original, creating more a feeling of hope.
