Originally (and still ) one half of the Munnibrotherz, Sean Munnick’s solo career has taken off recently with an amazing set on Boiler Room in late 2017 as well as a heavy 2018 DJ schedule. Munnick’s sound is all about the bounce, and this EP certainly showcases that with the lead track ‘Time’ demonstrating his take on the South African 'Afro House' sound

China Charmeleon teams up with Brandon Dhludhlu with Birds Sing - a soulful deep house cut that lands right where it matters. A deep house cut that unfolds with patience and precision, Rabbit’s Foot builds into a rolling pulse that’s gritty yet beautiful. Every sound is given room to breathe, yet the track lands with undeniable force - a perfect showcase of Graham Deep’s refined control and unmistakable sonic fingerprint. 

Originally from Ilovu, a township just 25 km south of Durban (KwaZulu-Natal), Graham Deep brings a rich, deep sound shaped by South Africa’s rhythms and global electronic textures. Known for his atmospheric, slow-burning productions, he’s built a loyal underground following through his ability to craft music that feels both thoughtful and floor-focused.

Since its premiere on Stay True Sounds Episode 44 – Mixed by Kid Fonque, the track has sparked a wave of anticipation:  “Rabbit’s Foot cuts really deep!!”  “That tune is killing it, yoh!”  “Still waiting for it since ISooks’ set😔” 
With Rabbit’s Foot, Graham Deep doesn’t just join the Stay True family - he elevates it. A powerful statement from an expert of subtlety, it’s a defining moment in the Vol. 7 rollout and a bold debut on Stay True Sounds.

Stay True Sounds Vol. 7 drops 29 August - another expertly curated compilation from label boss Kid Fonque, continuing his mission to document and showcase the label’s uncompromising vision; elevating the most exciting artists in South African electronic and house music.
Leading the rollout, Thabo Tonick delivers “Nika” - a slow-burn house heater layered in tension and flow - while Graham Deep makes his debut on the label with “Rabbit’s Foot”, a patient, atmospheric standout that’s already turning heads.

But the depth doesn’t stop there. Pando G comes through with “Analog Machines”, a raw, synth-heavy trip built on texture and grit. It’s one of the compilation’s most distinctive moments - unapologetically minimal, deeply musical. The kind of track that rewards repeat listens or gets dropped in a tech house set at 2am.

Another highlight is beatsbyhand’s “Aphotic Zone” - a haunting, immersive track that pushes deep house into darker waters. With its low-end weight and shadowy tone, it captures the late-night energy that defines the Stay True sound.
