On the tail of his 2015 oeuvre “Manuscript”, which we deemed “a far less jubilant outlook on the club experience than most of his peers’” and “music for packed dungeons and inhabited ruins”, Tomás deepens his dialectic for his 2016 outing, “La Muerte De Todo Lo Nuevo”.

In stark contrast with language of its title, it’s a far less Latin-inflected body of work than “Manuscript”. And in complete agreement with the concept of its title, it does indeed sound like “The Death Of All That Is New” – seemingly oxidizing the stainless steel of of-the-now club music in real time; seemingly demolishing its marble structures in slow motion.

The title track cheekily interpolates a haunting, bespoke variation on the “Alla Luce Del Giorno”/”Chase The Sun” melody atop plummeting percussive concretism, only to gradually unravel into beautiful plucked ostinato with cello accompaniment.

“Anatomía” exists at the odd, but serendipitous point of convergence between a hard, driving, clattering techno track, a sparse Hysterics-esque tool, and a Noah “40” Shebib beat.

“Distopía” begins as something you might hear in a Slipknot skit or hidden track, incrementally adds sparse, fleeting, fragile grime elements, and unceremoniously erupts into a furious volley of snares just as the background harmony reaches its most vulnerable and wistful. Asymmetry and counter-intuitive structure pervade the track – at first unnerving, this progressively subverts expectation and leaves the listener a blank slate, just in time for the finale’s barrage, leading to a touchingly human and intimate moment.

Lastly, “Incierto” is just that – uncertain; meandering as an artform; confusion executed with utmost precision.

On the remix tip, peers M.E.S.H., Ziúr and Ausschuss provide ersatz “alternate takes” to “Anatomía”, “Distopía” and, respectively, “Anatomía” yet again, conveying the synchronicity that suffuses and defines their loose collective.

‘Non-self 비자아’ is the first EP from London-based, South Korean musician and visual artist Jaeho Hwang. The six-track EP explores his sense of identity in the digital age as refracted through the Buddhist concept of anatta, or non-self—the belief that there is no unchanging, permanent soul or essence in living beings. Inspired by the Buddhist concept of impermanent selfhood, the EP combines dark, industrial club beats with traditional Korean instruments and samples

Jaeho Hwang draws from the dark, stuttering beats from London’s experimental club scene—harsh industrial sounds recall no-wave’s minimalist deconstruction. His use of traditional Korean instruments within this context, like the piri bamboo flute, or the stringed kayagum, recast traditional textures into modern form. On Sad Relationship, Jaeho samples the famous 80s South Korean pop ballad of the same name. The song glitches like a memory, warped and torn by an electronic tumult, and haunted by the original’s sentimental melody.

Uhlíková éra odchází nevyhnutelně s vyčerpáváním snadno dostupných a kvalitních ložisek ropy a uhlí, s vyčerpáváním kapacity biosféry uhlík znovu pohlcovat. Naše závislost na uhlíku musí skončit.

Kompilace vzniká jako přímá podpora hnutí Limity jsme my, které se zapojuje do globálního úsilí o spravedlivé řešení změn klimatu a budoucnost bez špinavých fosilních paliv, zejména uhlí. Usiluje o co nejrychlejší ukončení těžby a spalování uhlí v České republice a spravedlivý přechod na obnovitelné zdroje energie. Stažením kompilace finančně podpoříte činnost hnutí.

Zastoupení autoři vystoupili na událostech SOfT v roce 2018 v produkci HaDivadlo.

Bungalovv x Fvneral - Funeralovv

Marco Colocci is an Italian producer and sound engineer based in Berlin. Learning how to play the contrabass and music theory has initiated the growth of his interest in the techniques of field recording and sound design, as well as his overall passion for electronic music. After self-releasing music during his teens, and later producing for Taiwanese artist Sabiwa from Chinabot, under the moniker Queimada he now presents a debut record coming out on Gin&Platonic.

Built around a concept proposed by Harvard professor E.O. Wilson, Eremocene depicts a future state of miserable epoch into which human species is slowly but steadily accelerating. Characterized by the existential & material isolation that comes from having calamitously extinguishing other forms of life on Earth while intrepidly fulfilling our immediate needs, the future labeled as The Age of Loneliness sees our identity completely transformed.
On the record, Queimada explores precisely the conflict between the tempting ease and a pang of unconfessed guilt in an attempt to capture the ironical relationship they epitomize. The album represents an encounter between different techniques of granular synthesis and field recording. The encounter between the unstoppable and destructive, altogether resulting in a disruptive anthem of the intensifying burden of the postmodern times.

@Ytem has crafted his own voice within the experimental club music scene with his productions and DJ sets combining cinematic melodies and rough hardstyle-inspired drums, sometimes akin to an horror show score. He has released countless singles, remixes, collaborations, including on labels such as Slagwerk, [Re]sources, and Flood. 2018 saw ‘Dangereux’, his debut EP, released on his own Abîme imprint (co-founded with Chams), an illustration of recurring dreams he has had, a duality between atmospheric soundscapes and hardstyle patterns, between immensity and emptiness.

Ytem has toured extensively across Europe, playing in cities such as London, Brussels, and Paris and is often is invited to play radios shows; Circadian Rhythms (NTS), Rinse France, 10Twenty.
His tracks have been played by esteemed artists such as Caterina Barbieri, Zuli, Tzusing, and Dark0. In 2018, he played his first Boiler Room set in which he shifts through genres such as French hip-hop, jersey club, happy hardcore, trance, hard drum, and dubstep.
