For this year #909day 909 means 707 + 202 at Concrete Collage head quarter !

"Here is the story behind these five tracks. I wanted to record a
TR-707 sample pack for myself (and later the label) and had the opportunity to borrow the machine from a friend, Mr. Handicap Record (hello François !).
When stopping by his studio I noticed his MC-202 in a corner, not plugged in, so I asked him if I could borrow it along with the drum machine.

One hour later I'm in my studio with the two things plugged in, starting to mess around with the horrible / amazing sequencer on the 202 and some beats from the 707. At the end of the day I had finished one track and recorded so many lines with the two machines that I could make a few others.
Over the next five days I continued and wrote a track each day keeping only the two machines as sound sources. I had so much fun I thought I would make a record out of it !

And here it is ! A majestic ode to the end of the 80s / early 90s electronic music scene, with a bit of acid, a bit of rave, some glitchy beats and shitload of not...  more

Repeat Eater - 124.75 Brainache (Stazma Drum Edit Mix) [Concrete Collage]

We go full hard and weird for this new Concrete Collage release!Pleased to be welcoming Zeuge to our little family.

Coming from Belarus, living in Hamburg for a few years already, he has been an active member of the European Breakcore scene, releasing quite a few Eps on labels such as Abstrakt Reflections, Peace Off and Bankizz.

His style is very brutal, spasmodic and abstract at the same time, mixing elements of IDM, glitch and Gabber, all broken and mashed to an extreme level. Remnants of Acid and Jungle can also be heard, making this surprising cut and paste madness “party-friendly” as well!

This album is punctuated with short experiments recorded on modular synthesizers, called “Logfiles,” ranging from Industrial Noise to weird Trap, giving some breath in between the moments of violence from the main tracks.

With a collaboration from the Belgian producer M.E.R.S, a remix by fxbip as well as a track from Stazma The Junglechrist remixed by Zeuge; it is also a crew effort we present to you.

Enjoy this travel to the dark corners of your phone's mind !

Last release of the year for Concrete Collage with this four tracker EP by Orm-D.

This is a collection of emotionaly charged "acid ballad" that we have here. Classic 808/909 and 303 beats and bass lines are leading the dance while melancholic pads and vocoded vocals set up the dark, almost post-punkish mood of the four tracks.

Not much of a Christmas oriented release for sure, tho we hope it might help those of you who hate that time of the year to get trought it. There is something higly cathartic in the overhall sadness that transpires thought those track.

Concrete Collage is proud to present to you Toiminto, the man behind the exelent Swäg festival, in Tampere, Finland. I met him there where he was playing a very intricate liveset from mostly Elektron gear. 

In between Detroit style Electro and Autechre-like abstract "IDM", Toiminto own style is still unique, very cold yet organic, where generative structures of the tracks seems to evolve constantly.

Nothing better than some words form the man himself to describe this release: 
"After getting my hands on an elektron Monomachine early 2019, some switch kind of flipped in my head and instantly fell in love with the sounds it can produce. I proceeded to create a ton of patterns 
with a general idea of mutating repetition and interchangeable patterns between drums and melodies to acommodate interesting versioning for live sets. This resulted in Dogmatic Patterns EP, a cross breed of electro and IDM, 
geared to make you dance."

"Strategy Of Desire" is a selection of hand picked tracks from a huge archive of recordings sent to us by the mysterious Blaen entity, from who we only know he's involved with in Welsh Modular Alliance.

If our known universe was a computer, this would be the soundtrack of it's meltdown. A spectacular and fascinating explosion of electrons and atoms

The final result is a very sci-fi, and dark LP, that is quite cohesive even tho it is not sticking to any particuliar style.

The Bristol resident has been mostly releasing tracks on compilations for labels such as Gablonkers , Calcul and Evel Records. He caught our attention with a very disctinctive melodic style and skillful intricate drum programming.

A new transmission has reached us from the Woodpecking Mantis galaxy.

It seems our favorite alien insects is a little bit less angry than when we first encoutered him, but he still has some weird things to say. It also decided to speak to us for longer than last time and divided his synthesized speech in no less than eight time frames.

We can hear that our galactic friend is getting used to this musical language of ours. Heavily tortured breakbeats and analog drum machines are his main way of talking but FM sparkles and acid drips are never too far.

We are happy to deliver this message to you !
