Winter Stars

I went out at night alone;
  The young blood flowing beyond the sea
Seemed to have drenched my spirit’s wings— 
  I bore my sorrow heavily.

But when I lifted up my head
  From shadows shaken on the snow,
I saw Orion in the east
  Burn steadily as long ago.

From windows in my father’s house,
  Dreaming my dreams on winter nights,
I watched Orion as a girl
  Above another city’s lights.

Years go, dreams go, and youth goes too,
   The world’s heart breaks beneath its wars,
All things are changed, save in the east
  The faithful beauty of the stars.

I had a track called "Drops" by then, I kept going back to it and was never satisfied with the changes I did to improve certain parts in it I took the scissor and CUT.., So yes, not a true metamorphosis but close enough ...,  :) ! Hope you enjoy anyway

One Wound

Part of a three-movement suite, War Siren is a sonic representation of human life during the 20th century portraying multiple layers of human experience which are characterized by multiple layers of musical events in this piece. The rhythm of the siren pattern in the flute is written based on all the war dates in the 20th century. The time signature of the siren flute part follows the starting year of all wars during the 20th century i.e. 1912. So the flute part has a constantly changing time signature while playing the tritone interval which is basically the notes in a siren.  The multitude of sonic layers and events presents the very ordinary events in life around the world while violence was happening simultaneously in another part of the world or in the case of world wars one and two. The distorted vocal melody is inspired by the Iranian folk song “Navayi” highlighting a sense of nostalgia and mourning for the loss of love and youth.

Organ Sonata No 5 in C Major, BWV 529

This is the first ambient song I do with the exceptional guitarist Maneli Jamal; a project that emerged many months ago and that has been simmering; Maneli has distilled his art with several guitars over my base of strings, pads and pianos in a track that I can't get enough of listening to. Mixed by the musician and sound engineer Pouya Hamidi in Canada, and distributed with Soothe Sounds

At The Outset

L'amour et le temps qui passe, c'est une histoire sans fin, 
Comme le vin qui vieillit, il se bonifie en son sein. 
Les années défilent, les saisons s'envolent, 
Mais l'amour est toujours là, solide, sincère, une boussole.

Dans les cœurs, il s'installe, comme un doux parfum, 
Un souvenir tendre, un instant suspendu, si divin. 
Malgré les tempêtes, et les aléas de la vie, 
Il persiste, il résiste, il vibre, il survit.

L'amour et le temps qui passe, c'est un équilibre fragile, 
Un pas de danse incertain, entre nostalgie et désir habile. 
Mais quand on sait aimer, vraiment, sans condition, 
C'est un voyage sans fin, sans limites, sans contraintes ni prison.

Dans l’amour, chaque gorgée est une caresse, 
Chaque goutte une émotion, un plaisir, une tendresse. 
Et lorsque l’on partage ce breuvage divin, 
Le temps s'arrête, la vie s'illumine, tout devient soudain si serein.
	
L'amour et le temps qui passe, c'est un mystère, un enchantement, 
Une alchimie subtile, un mélange d'émotions, de sentiments. 
Et quand on y croit vraiment, et que l’on y met tout son cœur, 
L'amour devient éternel, le temps n'est plus que douceur.

L'amour et le temps qui passe, c'est un jeu de patience, 
Une danse gracieuse, entre désir et confiance. 
Alors, prenons le temps, savourons-le chaque instant, 
Cet amour précieux, si tendre, si enivrant. 

Aimons sans peur, sans retenue ni réserve, 
Aimons avec passion, avec tendresse, avec verve. 
L'amour et le temps qui passe, c'est une histoire sans fin, 
Une mélodie intemporelle comme un souffle divin. 

Quand le temps s'en va, emportant avec lui nos jours, 
L'amour demeure, immuable, éternel sans détour. 
Il nous guide dans la nuit, nous éclaire dans l'obscurité, 
Il nous donne parfois la force d’avancer.

Parfois dans une vie, une personne parce qu'elle vous aime, vous bouscule et vous éclaire à vous même, à vos forces, que vous connaissez déjà certainement, mais aussi à vos failles et blessures que vous ne voulez souvent pas voir. Tout changement, même lorsqu'il est bénéfique, demande des efforts et de la volonté pour devenir qui l'on est vraiment....

Sometimes in life, a person who loves you can shake you up and make you see yourself, your strengths, which you probably already know, but also your weaknesses and wounds that you often don't want to see. Any change, even when it's for the better, requires effort and willpower to become who you really are....

A peaceful and calm cinematic piano piece, to create a dreamy reflective atmosphere.
