This was a project I worked on a few years back. We formed a tribute band to the Straits after a common love for Knopfler and his music. Unfortunately not enough venues felt the same way and after a lot of hard work and rehearsing a lack of gigs forced us to abandon the idea. I wrote this song when my good lady was very poorly. I genuinely thought at the time that she might not make it. Fortunately she did. It's basically a statement on how we take each other for granted until we're put in a situation whereby we might not have them anymore or we lose them.
