Mz. Ohara of the super group/label Steady Grindin that was previously signed to Oscar Award Winner Multi Platinum Recording Artist Crunchy Black of Three 6 Mafia is back with her new solo mixtape called Queen Of The South which is set to drop June, 20th 2017. The title Queen Of The South comes from the longevity she has in the music industry and the 25 years of self taught knowledge on the music business. Mz. Ohara has always been in the music scene in Atlanta and she has paid her dues with hard work and being diligent. It’s taken Mz. Ohara a long time to arrive, but now she is here and this is why she is the self proclaimed Queen Of The South. Mz. Ohara at a very young age started rapping with legendary Atlanta artist like Sammy Sam The Hitman and Kilo Ali of Organized Noize. Ohara went to Franklin McClarin High School rapping in the same hallways Andre 3000 rapped in, she also would sit on 3 way phone calls with Cee lo Green rapping over the phone and creating music back then as kids that’s what they would do for fun. When Ohara was pushing her music group Suthern Bellz in the year 2000, the group was able to open up for artist like T.I. and they also opened up for Young Jezzy. Mz. Ohara has lived all over Atlanta, from Tara Blvd. to Poole Creek, John Hope, University Homes, Simpson Rd., Eastlake Meadows, she even lived in Henry County, living in all those places gave Ohara a different view on life and the struggles that people and herself endured. Mz. Ohara went by the name Da Madame and her rap partner was Da Mizztess as Suthern Bellz they rocked stages in front of thousands at Turner field for Hosea Feed the Hungry. In 2005 Suthern Bellz recorded their 1st mixed tape called Masterpiece Vol 1 recorded by The Master that produced the hit record by Archie ( We Ready ). Suthern Bellz sold 5,000 copies of that mix tape independently out the trunk of the car. Mz. Ohara respects all the other Queens before her, Now she wants her shot at the crown and dares anyone to challenge her. Queen of the South mixtape is taking you on a trip of a original Atlanta up tempo street feel. When you hear the mixtape it’s hard to mistaken that Atlanta sound something Mz. Ohara wants to bring back in her city. Her single I’m ATL produced by Kevin Lamar of Stakk Money Kevin Lamar is also featured on the song which will replace the late Welcome to Atlanta for which Mz. Ohara feels like it’s time for a new anthem for her city. Mz. Ohara is a born leader and always had a entrepreneur mindset and with that she is now a proud owner of BRMB Radio along side her husband C.B. and best friends Mz. Maye West and Jefe Rothstein. Mz.Ohara has plenty of hidden talents and ready to unleash them into the world. She also landed a distribution deal fall 2015 with Noize Cartel Records. Ohara is also about to sign a management contract with Kevin Lamar of Stakk Money Records. She has key people in place now so she can take over and dominate the music game. The Queen Of The South mixtape will be available to download for free on Dat Piff, Live Mixtapes, Spinrilla and all other mixtape sites. Her single will be available on Itunes and all online stores june 20th as well and it‘s not on the mixtape. Keep your ears and eyes open to the streets a new Queen has arrived.
