According to drummer, Jon Thomas, of LA's original Drowning Pool: "...recorded live to a 4-track machine in my bedroom. Unspoken word was basically an improv since no drums, I demanded to play Adam's guitar while he played keyboards. I played one note. Brett's bass playinug is on the fly and incredible as always."

Misery of  Cities taken from a batch of demos that were recorded and submitted to Factory Records in Manchester circa 1985. Misery of Cities would find its official release on the Eureka EP and feature the sound of wind chimes at the very end of the song.

Abecedarians live performance of "Ghosts" at the Roxy in West LA, November  9th, 1986 when they opened up for Durutti  Column! There are 2  known live recordings of this show. This is taken from the better recording courtesy of Mark B. Chris Manecke still own the parachute that use on the stage to project black & white images of ships in storms.

Tragic Symphony - Halycon was recorded in 1984. Collection of tracks that were jammed out in Chris Manecke's studio back in the summer of 1984. One of these songs appeared on Drownning Pool's Aphonia CD as a bonus  song called "Vanishing Prairie"

Abecedarians - They Said Tomorrow  live January 18th, 1986 at Safari  Sam's in Huntington Beach, California. Man From Missouri and Drowning Pool supported that night. This song would  appear in a different form with more guitar on the Scream LP compilation on Geffen Records 1987.

Abecedarians - Smiling Monarchs live at  Club Lingerie back on January 31st, 1985 when they opened for Factory Records' Section 25  from Manchester. The ABCDs were experiencing technical difficulties during the opening of the track. Due to experiencing numerous problems with the synth gear, plus the dragging the equipment around and the fact that the band had outgrew their synth pop beginnings these tracks were eventually dropped from their live sets. This track has remained a personal favorite of Drowning Pool's Adam Elesh. Here's a little trivia: the wind chimes heard at the end of the studio version recorded from the Chris Manecke's porch in Orange County back  in the mid 1980's. Drowning Pool - untitled demo #1 taken from a private collection of LA's original Drowning Pool member Jon Thomas. This untitled track now has a name and has surfaced after all of these years on Kinder Crowd Control's 2016 album "Songs to Saadet" now available in digital  form on sites like CD Baby.  This demo now appears as track# 5 "Mnemonica".
