Steal the Prize is a four piece versatile rock band from Lynchburg, VA. As artists, they invite the world to join in on their moments experienced through open-minded oneness as a band and community.  

Their first album "I Want to Talk to God" was released in 2009 and embraced genres that parallel piano rock, psychedelic rock, and the occasional inspired groove. In 2011, the band released their most recent record "I Think I Am", that reveals a more mature collection of songs with memorable connections being forefront. Unique experiences pervade this analog recording that was captured on reel to reel.  

Steal the Prize's sound is one equally informed by The Beatles and Led Zeppelin as it is by subtle earthy enchantments and cosmic oscillations. They create new connections to song writing that appear natural and yet seem familiar. In the studio they are comfortable producing neatly structured almost pop songs; however, when they play live they are not afraid to jam while putting the emotions of the moment in the limelight. The jams are more open-ended and really show off how long the members of this group have been together and feed off of one another. Steal the Prize's limitless approach grants them access to channel their souls into any possible sound.
