Trébucher means 'to stumble' in French which mirrors the way the track seems to trip over itself because of the interplay between the rhythm and the synth line.I wanted the synth line (written on the MFB Dominion Club and sequenced using the Electron Octatrack) to naturally swell and change over time, and to fall in to and out of a triplet feel, in order to emphasise the 'stumble’.
