Grammy Award winning producer, remixer and DJ Roger Sanchez is one of the world’s foremost names in House music. Born to Dominican Parents in Queens, New York, Roger spent his younger years soaking up the musical influences that were the lifeblood of his home town. It was the diversity of these influences, from salsa, blues and soul to disco, rock and hip-hop, that solidified Roger’s dedication to representing this spectrum of musical styles and spurred his constant quest to redefine the boundaries of house music. In 2020 REEL PEOPLE MUSIC dropped a blockbuster remake of an R&B classic, DJ FUDGE & CHINUA HAWK – LOVE X LOVE. 

Now we welcome one of our favourite producers MICHAEL GRAY with his stunning set of remixes.

Originally released back in 1980 on WARNER BROTHERS, LOVE X LOVE was penned by ROD TEMPERTON and produced by QUINCY JONES for US Soul & Jazz legend GEORGE BENSON’s GIVE ME THE NIGHT album.

Then position yourself in a dark corner and let the fun begin. Musical styles range from dance and disco to new wave and rock, but after a while, you’ll be too busy to pay attention.

That's French for “Black Eagle,” and that should give you a hint that this place takes the leather scene very seriously, indeed. Head for the back bar for live fetish shows that make San Francisco or New York (or, for that matter, pre-Castro Havana) look like Peoria. During the summer, the outdoor street-level terrace is filled to the rafters. Theme nights of leather and rubber gear draw in those the hard-core — or at least those who dress that way.
