9 years after the band did music for the video game SteamWorld Heist, they did more music for SteamWorld Heist II!

The album Music From SteamWorld Heist II features 15 new original full-length songs written and performed just for the game! That's right! It's a full album-sized album of brand new songs! But wait there's more! The album is also has special instrumental versions of every song! 30 tracks in total!

For this album, we've got songs by Rabbit, Zer0, and The Spine with a quasi-nautical theme and of course a plethora of tasty vocal harmonies! We also had Lacey Johnson (our newest live concert backing musician and singer) contribute her instrument and vocal abilities to some of the songs on the album too!

Music from SteamWorld Heist II

Steam Powered Giraffe's very first album was originally released in 2009. By 2011, founding member Erin Burke (who played the robot Upgrade) had left the band to pursue other opportunities. Since the band only had one album at the time, during their 2011-2012 performances at the San Diego Zoo, the band decided to change this album to feature just the current robot lineup. This included new cover art, the removal of Erin Burke's vocals, and the replacement of the song "I Am Not Alone" with the song "Ice Cream Parade". 

This version features the original release of Album One as it was in 2009, with the robot Upgrade, her vocals, and her song "I Am Not Alone". It also includes the track Ice Cream Parade from the 2011 release as a bonus.

Steam Powered Giraffe is a musical project from San Diego, California. It was formed in 2008 by twin siblings David Michael Bennett and Isabella Bunny Bennett. Together, along with a cast and crew filled with theatrical backgrounds, the group takes on the guise of singing antique automatons and the fictional robotics company that made them.

From their heartwarming nostalgic melodies to their funky cabaret rock, Steam Powered Giraffe’s songs are memorable, infectious, and as unique as the robots themselves.

More than just a band, Steam Powered Giraffe is an experience that must be seen and heard by the entire family.
