Steam Theory is an original recording project by Baltimore based composer and instrumentalist Jason Denkevitz. He records and produces his own material, occasionally employing guest musicians. So far this has resulted in three full length productions: Enduring Delirium (2010), Helios Rider (2012), and Asunder (2015). All three albums explore a blend of classical, fusion and world music elements all set within a progressive rock framework.

In addition to the studio part, there is a band entity to perform this material live in the Baltimore/D.C region. The most recent incarnation of that side of the project consists of Denkevitz (guitars, keyboards), Michael Esposito (guitars), Keith Misemer (bass) and  Roger Stewart(drums, percussion).
