Finally it's here, my "mixed" version of Sweet But Deadly! Been trying to teach myself to mix a tune over the last few months and it has driven me half crazy...hopefully I got there in the end!

Stebo is a Brighton based house, breaks and drum'n'bass DJ. He has been DJing since summer 2000 following a trip to Ibiza and its world renowned sunset parties. Upon returning to the UK he bought a pair of decks and started trying to figure out how to mix.

Early DJ sets were heavily influenced by the Balearic sounds, but his horizon expanded to various genres of progressive, tech and acid breaks, house and drum’n’bass while exploring Oxford’s nightclub scene surrounding places like the Cellar and Massive Records.

Apart from handing out new demo tapes each week to the various local promoters Stebo was also running his own nights under the Collusion banner. With fellow co-promoter and DJ Daz, the night brought in DJs covering the wide scope of dance music genres, with acts like Adam (Lab 4) and Nev Scott (Rhum Boogie).

Upon moving to Brighton in 2003, Stebo could be heard at regular DJ appearances at student union parties, fundraisers and competitions. These sets caught the eye of several promoters and he went on to partner ventures such as That Thing and Pound Party.

A main slot set at the Electric Playboy’s Club’s Bad 4 U New Years Eve 2007/08 party, lead to regular gigs with Brighton’s legendary Slacker’s Convention and several of Brighton’s local free parties.

Further a field, Stebo could be found at UK festivals Endorse-it in Dorset (2006) and Waveform (2007) and on international duty with mammoth 3-4 hour sets at Games Convention (2008) and gamescom (2009 & 2010) in Germany.
