STEENS MCGEENS TECHNO MIX

This was my first night I curated a lineup on a Thursday at SILO after hosting open decks there since October of 2023. I wanted to focus on techno, ranging from Detroit, to minimal, to hard techno and even some hard groove. 
I had a lot of fun playing the b2b set with DJ Allegation, and we decided to play hard for our closing set. Everyone was into what we were doing and kept on dancing until the end. Thank you to everyone, that was awesome, and can't wait to do it again.

I've been focusing on hard and industrial techno for a bit now for some previous gigs, so I wanted to put out a new mix with some new tracks I've been loving and playing.

Was ecstatic to host another Thursday night at SILO's front room, in which I invited friends to DJ. My opening set started a little more reserved as folks walked in which is what I aimed for, but grew a little harder, faster, and more energetic as more people were dancing and into it. I had a really great time playing, hope you enjoy.

Me and Rich (Lokono) were ripping tracks left and right for this debut b2b for my party Debauch at SILO. We were pumped to play for a fully grooving dance floor. This was moments after I received a surprise birthday cake with a birthday song from Ms Mixx, the b2b before me and Rich. It was a great night, and couldn't thank everyone enough. We had a lot of fun playing together, hope you enjoy it. 

Me and Lokono will host and play an open decks at SILO together on May 14th, 2025 starting at 8PM. Hope to see you there.

STEEN B2B Lokono @ SILO (Debauch 3/27/25)

This was my closing set for my fifth Debauch party, recorded in SILO's main room. It was my debut in that room and loved playing hard, groovy, spacey techno through the bumping sound system. Also everyone on the lineup (Kush Jones, Escaflowne, N1NA and Purdy) also demolished their own sets and I can't thank them enough for playing. 

It was a lot of fun throwing that party (Debauch 005). What was surprising, was that SILO had to move it into the main room hours before doors opening. We had over 2,000 free RSVPs because the Brooklyn Mirage next door cancelled their opening shows. There were over 800 attendees that night, all folks ready to party and dance.
