Joined for my next instalment on SWU with the founders of rdg tribe, who have curated a sublime mix, seaming together abstract, minimal and dub like textures. 

Javier Salazar are the founders to 'rdg tribe'. Their label focuses on and hosts an array of sounds from the realm of psychedelic underground EDM, spanning from ambient, half time to deep techno and breaks. The duo's own track curations are the pinnacle to deep and hypnotic production and demonstrates how these sounds can undeniably entice listeners into the vortex that this music can take you through.

@zaraolsen is an absolute favourite on the show, her deep, psychedelic and emotional productions have solidified her as a key player representing the Australian underground with releases on @purespacefm , @a-biotic , @saltminesrecords to name a few. Quickly gaining international recognition, last year playing the @minimal_collective label night at deschool for ADE as part of her debut Europe tour.

Just a few months back, we stumbled upon Dj wiggles, and it was a delightful find. From pounding bass to creating suspense through eerie ambient field recordings and mind-bending techno/drum & bass, Dj wiggles takes you on unpredictable journeys. You're never quite sure where her musical waves will guide you. 

In this mix, she cleverly constructs a narrative that effortlessly transitions between slow and fast tempos. Creating a blend of percussion, trippy sounds, dub-infused vibes, and captivating vocals.

She shared a few words with us:

NERVE’s live sets are undeniably body music, steely textures punctuated by drum and bass inflicted rhythm workouts capable of whipping any crowd into a frenzy.

Over the years, she has crafted a very unique sonic language that transcends the dance floor, into subliminal rhythmic, ambient, and experimental territories. She has a gift for conjuring dynamic narratives that evoke powerful emotions and otherworldly visualisations.

Timnah has a unique way of drawing the listener into her world, rather than guiding them through their own….. and it’s a beautiful place to be.

Neptunian Influence Podcast, Twenty-Four | Featuring Trichome (@baphometz)

Cruise into the blooming season with a nearly two-hour, live jam session composed of all original material by Trichome. The LA-based electro ally has been DJing since 1998 and making his own music on and off since 2001. Last April I saw him play a live set at the revitalized Harvest party alongside Carl Finlow/Silicon Scally, ADJ, 214 and Mad Wax...an incredible night for electro in Los Angeles! Trichome's music appears on both of ADJ and Veronica Green's "Earthlings" compilations, which raise funds for World Animal Protection, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending animal suffering.
