I began writing this song May 2, 2021 in an attempt to begin becoming more vulnerable with my music. I wrote most of it that before taking a break and revisiting it November 24, 2021 and finishing it off. This song chronicles a narrator with a low sense of self-worth and their thought process after being cheated on, as they blame themselves and spare all condemnation from their partner because they feel they deserve it.
