My name is Anna Borsuk and I am a promoter and a DJ, representing the young female generation of artists. I grew up in Kiev, but have been based in Warsaw for a long time. My history with music is quite a varied one, as I never dwell long on one specific genre, opting instead to try and convey the special charm of the Ukrainian underground scene and its diverse sounds. Lately I've mostly been inspired by electro, breaks, synth, acid and ghetto, while also delving into rominimal, minimal breaks and groove.
As a member of the international SOJUZ collective, I'm involved in the pursuit of organising clubnights that foster the underground music culture, with all of its different approaches to music, visuals and clubbing itself. Every two weeks you can join us on a journey through all that and more, by listening to our show on Radio Kapitał.

Vy Tran is a DJ based in Berlin. Before Berlin, he lived in Mecklenburg-West Pomerania for almost ten years, where he was very actively involved in the electronic music scene and is still an integral part of the club ROSA and the Freiland Festival. In Berlin he has also recently become an active part of the Sonntagsinstitut. Vy’s sound merges both groove and drive without losing the deep and dynamic facets when creating his very own storyline.

“Lamenté interrumpirlo, pero aquella «música» no me gustó para nada.

  —Ami —le llamé. No respondió; estaba muy concentrado en esa especie de interferencia eléctrica en una radio en onda corta…

  —Ami —insistí.

  —¡Oh, perdón!… ¿Sí?

  —Discúlpame, pero no me gusta.

  —Claro, es natural; el disfrute de esta música requiere de una «iniciación» previa… Buscaré algo que te parezca más conocido.

  —Tocó otro punto del tablero. Surgió una melodía que me agradó inmediatamente, tenía un ritmo muy alegre. El instrumento principal sonaba parecido a la chimenea de un tren a vapor a toda velocidad.

  —¡Qué agradable!… ¿Qué instrumento es ese que parece un tren?

  —¡Dios mío! —exclamó Ami fingiendo horror, ¡acabas de ofender a la garganta más privilegiada de mi planeta, al confundir su hermosa voz con el ruido de un tren!

  —Discúlpame, por favor… no sabía… ¡pero resopla muy bien! —dije, procurando arreglar mi metida de pata.

  —¡Blasfemo! ¡Hereje! —Fingía jalándose los cabellos— decir que la gloria de mi mundo… ¡resopla! —Terminamos por estallar en carcajadas.

  Aquella música lo impulsaba a uno a bailar.”
