By The Waves is the first single off Swedish indietronica/pop outfit Baron Bane’s forthcoming third album III (released by Despotz Records/Stupid Dream Records). Single released Jan 28.
This song is a dark and dreamlike story about losing your grip on reality and being pulled out by the waves into the unknown. For fans of: Massive Attack, Radiohead, NIN and Steven Wilson.

Baron Bane started their collective enterprise in 2003. Today, the group Baron Bane exists of five musicians and whereas Baron Bane is a rock group, the conceptual and visual art might also label the band as an art collective. Baron Bane explore the contrasts between cold and warm; digital and analogue; acoustical and electronic and their performances are always a visual and sonic experience with ingredients beyond the usual. 
To accomplish this, the group have a history of working with many different artists such as dancers, fire artists, mime artists, graphical artists and so forth. Baron Bane has also incorporated something as exciting as overhead projector battles within their shows. Their latest tour also incorporated 3D elements in their visual presentation and the audience were given the classic red/cyan glasses to enjoy the show.

Baron Bane's latest album "LPTO" (2011) was rated 4/5 in British magazine Uncut (comparing them to both ABBA and Morrissey) and the band was deemed "Tomorrow's headline act" by Music Week. The singles Orchids and Love.Cure.All have rotated heavily on British radio and the latter was also Single of the Week on iTunes Japan.
The single My Slow World was featured in MTV hit series "Awkward", which rendered lots of hits to the official video on YouTube (currently over 34,000 plays).
Baron Bane have done extensive touring in Europe, building their fanbase in places like Berlin, Prague and Paris (the official release party for "LPTO" was held at Prague's biggest venue for indie music).

"Save Me is about difficult situations in life… times when we are basically BEGGING for someone or something to "SAVE" us. Times when ANY solution sounds good… (any solution is better than nothing...) Usually these kinds of situations 'solve them selves' - we end up literally saving ourselves - but the song is about someone in the midst of that desperation... calling out for that elusive 'saviour.'"

Short bio:
Cole and Shpresa met on SoundCloud; where each had been uploading their music independently, in early 2012. At first, their love was simply for the other's music. That quickly turned into something more, however, and it wasn’t long before the two began a relationship on Skype which lasted more than five months. In June 2012, Shpresa flew to Cole in Minneapolis, from Stockholm, and stayed until the couple returned to Sweden two months later. It was there that Flora Cash was born.

Since that time, Flora Cash has lived, written and played in Stockholm, London and Minneapolis. They've assembled over nineteen-thousand YouTube subscribers and amassed over a million views on their videos. They've released several singles and three EPs and have recently signed with Swedish indie label, 'Icons Creating Evil Art,' with whom they'll be releasing an EP late this summer/early fall.

tre personligheter som elsker å lage musikk sammen!
