Jim Bryan, aka Steve Johnson was an incredible professional musician fretless bass player, producer  that I was so incredibly fortunate to have collaborated with in many songs.  

Jim was a prominent presence in the first album with Imperial Measures, "Words to the Wise" and his signature sound can be heard clearly in "Chemistry Measures". 

On a personal note, he was a kind soul, always encouraged me, and I miss him very much.  
Rest in peace, Jim 🙏
