EN: DJ John Haste is iconically known for his dancing house with nostalgic references, his remarkable performances  and his classic visuals that reminds us of the 70s and 80s. As a true crowd choreographer from slower rhythms such as Disco and House up to stronger and faster beats with Tech House.

When he plays, he always tries to interact a lot with the public, using the most of the available FX and DJ gear to deliver a well created set accordingly to the right moment of the night, from warmups elevating people’s energy to peak times.

Music has always been his passion, producing since he was 15 years old and publishing his tracks independently. Electronic music became his passion and since then, he decided to transfer his expertise to his new genre.

He is currently the co producer of the party label Collective Heaven, and has already performed in some of the biggest clubs on Curitiba (BR) such as Park Art, Club Vibe, Club Inbox, Danghai Club, James Bar and has been releasing his new tracks by some of the most iconic brazilian labels, the G-mafia Records and Muzenga Records.

Quando toca, sempre busca interagir com o público, usar ao máximo os efeitos dos equipamentos disponíveis e entregar um set adaptado ao horário da noite,  tanto para fazer um warmup elevando a energia da pista aos poucos, quanto para  agitar a pista no momento mais enérgico da noite.

De ritmos mais calmos e clássicos como o Disco e o House até drops mais impactantes e acelerados com o Tech House.

Música sempre foi sua paixão, produzindo desde os 15 anos e publicando de forma independente, se apaixonou pela música eletrônica e decidiu passar sua experiência como músico para esse novo estilo desde então.

Atualmente é coprodutor da festa Collective Heaven e residente da Home Setup, já se apresentou em grandes clubes de Curitiba e Região Metropolitana como: Park Art, Club Vibe, Club Inbox, Danghai Club, James Bar e Nott CWB.

Inserido dentro de um personagem que carrega uma sonoridade ímpar, aos 25 anos de idade, 13 anos como músico e 8 como produtor, participa assiduamente dos movimentos de música eletrônica, nos quais vem aderindo cada dia mais adeptos. Dirty Moog entra em uma nova etapa de sua carreira, trazendo diversas parcerias, novas produções, e muita energia para promover a cultura que marca toda uma geração. 

Suas produções contam com lançamentos em todas as principais plataformas de áudio, por gravadoras como, Groove Trap Records e Sektor 021 do Brasil, a renomada House Of Hustle de Londres e Hood Politics da Califórnia, na qual teve seu maior release. 

Uma das características marcantes é a apresentação enérgica, na qual ressalta a personalidade excêntrica, visa sempre manter a pista eufórica, usufruindo de sonoridades que trazem tensão e relaxamento nas horas exatas, transitando por linhas alternativas do Tech House, Techno e Minimal, com elementos que remetem ao Electro House, sempre intensos, que transmitem uma identidade sonora estrambólica.

The latest music from Welsh brother duo BRODYR.

Wales is a country that has produced its fair share of musical talent over the years. Some of the world’s biggest recording artists have been proud to call the small British nation their home and when it comes to electronic music, some of the industry’s heaviest hitters and most influential characters have also been produced within the Welsh borders, none more so than dance music royalty Sasha and Paradise and Hot Creations head honcho Jamie Jones. The latest talent to stand up and be noticed is the North Wales double act BRODYR.

BRODYR, the Welsh word for brothers, is the musical alias of the sibling partnership of Mike and Dave Blackwell. Although only started in September 2015, the seeds for the BRODYR project were planted a lot longer ago than the four years it has been in operation. With both brothers showing a clear inclination for music from an early age, each learning to play the piano by ear, their path into the electronic music industry was cemented by regular trips to Ibiza, first with their parents as children and later, into their teens and beyond, with friends. Heavily influenced by some of the Balearic Island’s most recognisable faces, in particular Carl Cox and Marco Carola, BRODYR have developed their own unique style that encompasses the full techno spectrum, ranging from minimal to tech house and everything else in between.

Having played their very first gig in Space Ibiza, big things were always likely to follow for BRODYR. Following up their debut performance with appearances in some of Europe’s biggest clubbing institutions, BRODYR have become regulars at The Warehouse Project and have also played venues like EGG London, as well as performances at festivals such as Parklife, Manchester, and Hideout, Croatia. Appearing on lineups for these brands often sees BRODYR sharing bills with some of the industry’s biggest and most in demand names, never seeming out of place while rubbing shoulders with artists like Darius Syrossian, wAFF, Latmun and Michael Bibi. BRODYR are also currently residents for nghtwrk, one of Chester’s most popular and forward thinking club brands.

Not just DJs, BRODYR have added a very significant production feather to their cap. Calling on all of their experience and musical influences, the duo have honed their skills and taken the time to find their true sound and in November 2015 released their first track, Parallel Universe, on CRAFT Underground. Since then, the brothers have enjoyed a whole range of successful releases and are currently signed to some of the scene’s best respected labels, including Pure Enjoyment Recordings, New Violence Records, High Pressure Music, Mushroom Smile Records, Be Color Music and Libero, as well as launching their own imprint, Black Seven Music.

With a number of local and international bookings already confirmed, as well as a catalog of music awaiting release, it is easy to see why BRODYR have been labeled as “one to watch” for the remainder of this year and beyond.
