London based James Dexter is a name that is synonymous with the finest quality house music. He peddles his wares with labels as diverse as Bondage Music, Gruuv and Poker Flat Recordings. His music is filled with emotion and energy and gives a distinct nod to the origins of the the genre. We are pleased to present this stylish three tracker just in time for the warmer weather.
First up is a shuffling house jam titled ‘No Stress’ which revolves around a bouncing sub groove and loose percusion. A blissful female vocal cut echoes through and has distinct garage vibe which is backed up by the funky low end groove. The track has a throwback vibe, and is crafted with tonnes of care and skill to create warmth and punch that keeps the floor shaking.
On ‘Return’ James takes a deeper turn. Here he introduces rich synth pads and deep chords which swirl and twist together across the soundscape. The drum track remains thick and crunchy, with solid punch and a driving groove to deliver maximum impact on the dancefloor. Closing out the EP is ‘Trapped’. This time the beat is amped up with a more techy edge and a heavy sub bass tightly locks in the groove. Fierce analog synth swells bring waves of tension into play and are contrasted wonderfully by James’s signature lush chords. A spoken female vocal ensures an emotive ride from beginning to end.

This is one of the most important weeks in the electronic music scene, as the whole industry converges on the small Dutch city for a week of networking, connecting and reconnecting and of course some of the biggest parties of the year. Like every year, Deeperfect will be there in full force! And like every year, we have an amazing release to commemorate this special time of year. For this installment of our annual Amsterdam compilation, we had the pleasure of enlisting our colleague Hito to curate and mix the album. ''Deeperefct ADE 2018" is a monumental release consisted of 15 unreleased, brand new tracks by some of the most promised artists of the scene such as Midori Hirano, Raul Facio, Backround, Leonardo Gonnelli, Umberto Pagliaroli, Aney F., Geroge Adi, Dj Dep, Johnny Trika, INGRID (IT), Mamin, Martin Brooks, Toru Ikemoto, Shawnecy and of course tracks from our label boss Stefano Noferini and a collaboration track By Hito and Dj Dep. We're happy to introduce UK producer REME to the 90watts label. This two tracker marks his label debut and sees him collaborating with both Henry Jacobs as well as Mason Collective, known from their infamous sell-out MVSON events.

The opening track, 'Equal Rites', produced together with Manchester new comer Henry Jacobs, is a deep warehouse groover build around a subtle acid bassline, whereas the collaboration with Mason Collective, 'Goofy', is a more bouncy and uplifting cut. Proper uplifting UK tech-house vibes here!

Bringing his creative and enlightening energy to his music, REME is the latest producer to break through Manchester's new wave of talent. This Summer his tracks have been picked up and played by artists including Marco Carola, Jamie Jones and Martinez Brothers. With first releases across some of the biggest labels in the industry and an unmistakable lustre, REME is ready to make his mark.
