PDV Berlin Summer Selection #4

The boss is back with "Extraluv" and the ride starts with a subliminal chord progression that only fully unfolds sporadically, adding that special character. A vocal reiterating the title floats around and gets timestretched while distressed synths fly high over the juicy sub bass.

Loco & Jam take care of the first remix and dub things out, adding huge synths and an epic breakdown. Natch! & Dothen follow up with their lazy-groove interpretation sporting a percussive vibe along with some bass-heavy action. Sante Sansone seals the EP with an optimistic bassline and crackling rhythm section, offering a whole different approach to the whole affair.

For a very special edition of ANTS on Ibiza Sonica, The Colony were invited to the Playa d’en Bossa studios to witness Francisco Allendes perform live at the ANTS Social Hub. The Chilean DJ and vibe master has been a cornerstone of ANTS for many years, captivating The Colony at events and festivals around the world with his mix of dancefloor-focused grooves and techy selections. The mix was recorded before Francisco went B2B with Matthias Tanzmann at ANTS METALWORKS in Ushuaïa Ibiza, playing alongside Ilario Alicante, Paco Osuna, Latmun, Rendher and Raul Rodriguez.

Barcelona-based tastemaker, Rendher, takes control of ANTS METALWORKS. This exhilarating mix was recorded live from Ushuaïa Ibiza on Saturday 12th July, when Rendher performed alongside Ilario Alicante, Paco Osuna, Francisco Allendes B2B Matthias Tanzmann, Latmun and Raul Rodriguez. Influenced by 90s hip hop and Latin rhythms, this mix is the perfect introduction to the unique sound of Rendher.
