ANNA is one of Brazil's finest exports, exploding onto the electronic music scene as one of the most exciting female DJs & producers of this new era. With an intense love of music from an early age, she has been rocking clubs in her home country since she was 15 years old, and it shows! ANNA's presence and ability behind the decks is simply stunning, igniting the dance floor and creating pure energy that captivates everywhere she plays. After temporarily moving to Europe in 2008 to start pursuing an international career, things started to progress quickly, taking in tours across Spain, Portugal, Hungary, Czech Republic and more. Having always been interested in music production, it was at this time that Anna got a taste for the studio and developed her unique sound of deep, yet energetic Tech-House & Techno. Since then she has been releasing her music on some of the scene's finest labels, including Christian Smith's Tronic, Kraftek, Witty Tunes, Bla Bla and Toolroom Records. ANNA has also been creating a fine catalogue of remixes, giving her distinctive treatment to Pleasurekraft, Baher & Fulltone, Victor Ruiz & Alex Stein, D-Nox & Beckers, The Scumfrog, Oliver Klein & Ramon Tapia, Anderson Noise, Filthy Rich, Format B, and more. ANNA's flirtatious sound of deep & driving tech house is a testament to her passion & exceptional technical ability.

After over a decade in the music industry, Toolroom is going back to its roots. We’re reigniting our passion for House music and we want to share it with you with the first of a brand new album series, ‘Toolroom Live 01’, mixed by Mark Knight, Weiss and Adrian Hour and featuring huge tracks by Bontan, Tube & Berger, Dosem and more.

The ‘Toolroom Live’ albums are opportunities for us to highlight our key artists, present new tracks, and give you a taste of the live experience. ‘Toolroom Live 01’ takes you from underground House music right through to main room Techno, emphasising the vast musical spectrum we are privileged to occupy and shining a spotlight on the three core artists who will be leading our label into the next ten years.

No longer an obscure name, Weiss hit the charts with ‘My Sister’ being played by everyone from Loco Dice to Groove Armada. As with this track, his mix on ‘Toolroom Live 01’ is created by and for the lover of real House music, referencing the past and looking to the future. Featuring tracks by the likes of MK, Hot Since 82, Harry Romero, Bontan, Tube & Berger and Doorly, alongside a brand new exclusive from Weiss himself, ‘I Believe’, this is a mix that’s all about craftsmanship; it’s about the emotions that the tracks evoke; it’s about a great passion for House music. 

At the other end of the spectrum, Adrian Hour is no stranger to this ethos. Well regarded by the likes of Carl Cox and the Suara team for his jaw dropping productions, he infuses his tracks and Toolroom Live mix with an indescribable quality. Adrian Hour deftly weaves his way through the many shades of techno, incorporating new tracks from Pirupa, Erik Hagleton and Coyu & Ramiro Lopez, as well as huge exclusives from himself, D-Unity, Montenegro and more.

Finally, Mark Knight ties the album together with his ability to make memorable main room House music and his talent for creating moments that are reminisced about for months, even years, after the event – and this is the focus of his Toolroom Live mix:

D-Unity - Time

<p>The boss is back on Deeperfect and &#8220;Next Time&#8221; touches down with a dubbed-out bassline and heavy effect usage, letting the commanding vocals do their thing while suspenseful synths keep the intensity factor high. Rafa Barrios is in charge of the first remix and employs a grinding rhythm section to get the affair rolling, which only adds to the loopy vibe which is sprinkled by delicate synth work. Danniel Selfmade&#8217;s version pulls the gears back just a bit and shifts the focus on percussive elements, maintaining a more stripped-down approach and giving the bubbling sub bass room to breathe.</p>

It was a cold night in fat camp, when Eugene spent 8 hours, duct taped to the girls' toilet. He promised himself he won't allow others to treat him like scum anymore. He went on a low-carb diet, hired a personal trainer, had his myopia lasered and decided to become a rock star. Then internet happened to him and he went back to being extremely obese, moved back to his mom's basement and got addicted to MMORPGs. One day he got kidnapped by a religious nutjob and force fed to death. When investigating the crime scene, the police found a mysterious USB stick with a couple of tracks on it...

Pirupa has something of a knack for crafting tech house dancefloor killers. The Italian producer has an impressive track record with three Beatport chart-topping releases (2009’s ‘Sweet Devil’, 2010’s ‘Get Funky’ and 2012’s ‘Party Non-Stop’) to his name.

His latest single — another sure-fire contender for Beatport domination — that we’re premiering today, sees him rework a classic. ‘Spin Me Round’, which samples the vocals of Dead Or Alive’s '84 classic, has already received the backing of Marco Carola who’s been keeping a dub to himself up until now.

Pirupa’s take sees him beef up the track’s bassline and tease legendary chorus before letting loose for a powerful sing-a-long moment.

‘Spin Me Round’ is out 12th October.

Hot Creations are launching a new ‘Paradise on Earth’ DJ Mix series with the first instalment coming as a Mexico special from Paradise residents and label regulars Nathan Barato and Patrick Topping. Each mix is expertly crafted, fusing musical influences with exclusive new material alongside current favourites for your listening pleasure.

The first CD comes from Toronto-based DJ & producer Nathan Barato, an artist that has been on the rapid rise with releases on Cajual, MOOD, Relief, Saved, Circus Records, Defected and of course Hot Creations. Barato’s mix kickstarts with the sonorous opening of Derrick Carter’s ‘Where You at?’ soon venturing into big dancefloor movers like Moritz Piske ‘Dirt Cabana’ and Makam’s ‘Loletta’. Nathan explains, "This is the first compilation I've done, so I was nervous and excited when building the tracklist. I wasn't inclined to make a mix that was only bombs ...I wanted to express myself and show a different side of my sound.”

UK talent Patrick Topping has cemented his status as one of the most in demand names in dance music and this year completing his third summer as resident at DC10 in Ibiza for Paradise. Here Patrick showcases the sound and style of his sets with hi-energy from the word go. “This was my first time putting together a licensed mix and it was such a fun project. Most the tracks are older but I was also luckily enough to include some of my favourite unreleased tracks of the moment. Thanks to Oli Furness, Jack N Jerk, Sean Miller & Elliot Adamson for letting me use these. There are also 3 brand new productions of mine in here.” - Patrick Topping

Since label head and visionary Jamie Jones began his Paradise night at DC10 in Ibiza five years ago, the night has gone on to be by far one of the biggest on the island, inviting the biggest names in the business to come play alongside his solid crew of talented friends and residents.
