Drinking to their tenth year in the game, Hive Audio enter 2022 with a celebratory compilation triptych featuring some of the finest names in the house and techno scenes. Taking the reins for the series' second instalment, a septet of the Swiss club affiliates and long-time friends headline the comp including Booka Shade, Einmusik, Edu Imbernon, Definition and Natascha Polké, Niconé & Dirty Doering, Nico Morano and Vanita. 

Pulling out their trademark engineering of athletic tech-house and subs-charged, aqueous sleekness, Booka Shade show the uninitiated how it's done true-school-style with the heat-conducting "Regatta Da Zatta". A blazing tapestry of synth-heavy lushness and clinical programming, tailored for nothing but whipping up ravers into a frenzy. 

Definition & Natascha Polké pick up the torch with the deeper descending, melancholic flow of "Haunted" - a cold-at-heart sonic tableau enticing us on the path of nostalgia through delicately textured paths and darker meanderings. 

Edu Imbernon dishes out a further propulsive blend of Italo-laced arpeggios, ominous deep-end threat and big-room churn on a brainwashing, trance-friendly tip, perfect to get everyone wading in their own sweat from peak-time to extended party action throughout the day. 

Merging tribalistic polyrhythms with angular narratives out tomorrow's globalized dystopia, Einmusik "Walensee" cuts a path of communicative elation with its barrage of glassy synth stabs and tectonic bass movements rising from down under up to stratospheric heights. 

Nico Morano's contribution "Adior" grinds elements of typical Latin suavity alongside feverish keyboard talk a la Moroder and newbeat-informed programming, ushering us in its own continuum of befogged hi-tech solitude. 

Funky to the bone, Niconé & Dirty Doering "Kill All My..." trades the velocity of the previous for a low-slung, nu-discoid swagger that blows the winds of ultimate hedonism across the dance floor. 

Last but not least, Vanita's bespoke freewheeling closer "Anxietatem" pulls off the perfect mix of rolling, tsunami-like dynamism and painstaking textural arrangements.

KYONGPAUL is a Berlin-based techno/house live-band by producer Buddy Meyerholz (SYMBIZ) and jazz-drummer Hannes Dunker (Evelyn Kryger, Hannes Dunker Trio, MÖKKI).

Based on an improvisational concept and with the use of self-made controllers, custom programmed software and electronic & acoustic drums, the Berlin-based duo creates a hypnotic, always danceable technoid sound.

About the Ep:
Following it’s relaunch, Perplex!’s second release comes from Greek producer Thodoris Triantafillou this April featuring three moving house cuts entitled ‘WE’.
Launched back in 2008, Boot Slap’s Perplex! has been releasing a solid body of house music for over a decade. Joining the label now is Athens-based producer Thodoris Triantafillou, who has seen a steady flow of releases on labels like Dennis Ferrer and André Hommen’s Objektivity, CJ Jeff’s Rhythmetic, Connaisseur Recordings and his very own Glory Hill Studio.

Italian born Stefano Ranieri is a talented Dj/Producer with a soul connected to House Music since 1991. His strong passion for music started early as child listening to vinyl and cassettes of his older brother, there he discovered Funky music, Rock, Soul and Disco. His teen years brought him to the local record shops of Italy where Stefano immediately made a strong connection to House and Underground Music. He later found himself submerged in the world of the night life as a dj, from local parties in his town to some of Italy's most important clubs in the 90s. After an impressive fifteen year dj career as resident and guest throughout Italy's clubs, he decided to take a break and dive into the studio and dedicate himself to the world of musical production.
2017, life changed for Stefano and his career after meeting with the labels Nulu Music and Nulu Electronic that embraced his talent and gave Stefano total freedom to express himself creatively between both labels and genres. From that moment Stefano had great success with the releases of his work especially with tracks such as "Less Talk", "News From Afrika", "Trax Exploration", "Break The Beat", "Risonanza" Album, "Taste Of The Future", "It Could Happen" and "Al Telun" played and supported by some of the industries most sought after Artists such Anané, Louie Vega, Kenny Dope, Masters At Work, Carl Cox, Bob Sinclair, Nic Fanciulli and Radios around the globe.
