Capturing that moment towards late August, when the soothing summer breeze becomes slightly colder, and the Riviera-hotels are rolling in their sun beds, Granola Sunset is perhaps the story of that one remaining fedora-wearing, elderly gentleman, clutching his turquoise long-drink, slow dancing by himself. 

Backed by a true Danish dream team counting members of Kashmir and CODY among others, Murky Munroe lets his baritone-croon loose in the midst of lush flamenco-guitars and mournful siren-calls, awaiting a summer that never really came.

Produced by Brian Batz (Sleep Party People) and multi-grammy award winning producer and mix engineer, Eduardo De La Paz (Arcade Fire, New Order), the follow-up single ‘Constantly Repeating’, out on the 12th November, conveys the longing we sometimes feel of cutting loose from the repetitive rituals of our everyday life. From the familiarity of our daily routine and surrounding faces, to the clambering over the same pavements, the lack of contrast from one day to the next can spawn the urge to riot against conformity and purely go bonkers. Suffering from a psychosis, the mind of the character in ‘Constantly Repeating’ truly runs wild as they transcend all monotony. This is further expressed by the building intensity of the saxophones as they violently dissolve into chaos. The song itself questions how often we find ourselves caught between a daring impulse and logical reasoning.
