Berlin closing vibes recording from 05 onwards. Besides all the fresh bangers, for this set I was also digging into many older tracks in my collection. It's hard to believe that the songs I've bought in 2017-2019 when I got started with DJing start to be old enough to sound fresh again! And did I have a lot of fun revisiting these by giving them a new twist as my mixing has evolved a lot since the early years :)

Born and raised in Berlin, the Vietnamese DJ was intrigued by the city’s vibrant
electronic music scene from an early age. HAMY’s musical journey began in 2012 as a
dedicated collector, leading her to start DJing in 2023.
Although Berlin’s distinctive techno sound has significantly shaped HAMY’s style, she
enjoys blending classic, timeless techno with contemporary productions from various
genres.
With her luscious selection and ability to craft solid flows while keeping her sets
engaging and dynamic, she has quickly gained a loyal following. She has performed in
renowned venues such as Tresor, RSO, OXI, Watergate, Rote Sonne, and more. She is
a resident DJ for the Berlin-based techno label @tilt.label.

Ponky is a DJ, producer, and co-founder of the Dissonance Collective, shaping a sound deeply influenced by funk and hip hop. With a strong focus on percussion, he blends synthetic rhythms with 90s house and rap acapellas, crafting dynamic and engaging sets. His mixes move fluidly between hardgroove, hypnotic textures, and break beats, creating an immersive experience that keeps listeners locked in.

For this mix, he approached it as he would a live set, starting with an ambient intro before building power and tension throughout. Always seeking to avoid monotony, he shifts towards a groovier energy towards the end. Rather than relying on predefined playlists, he selects tracks based on instinct, storytelling, and the emotions he wants to share with his audience.
