Jamie Jones recruits Max Dean for ‘Start Screamin’ on Hottrax this July. 

Previously appearing on Resonance, Deeperfect, South Records, and more, Max Dean’s productions receive vast amounts of support from the likes of Michael Bibi and Jamie Jones. Now readying his first release for Jones’ Hottrax imprint, the UK-based DJ/producer drops two groove-laden tracks, marking some of his strongest productions to date. 

Leading the release, the title track ‘Start Scream’ brings swung drums, bouncy basslines, and memorable vocal licks together for an undeniable groover. ‘Yes Baby’ follows suit, bringing another welcome house cut, peppered with spoken word and eerie synth hits over funky low end and skippy percussion.

Murphy’s Law return to Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations, joined by label debutant Sam Curran and Harry Unsworth, on the collaborative banger, ‘Proper Whopper’. 

Nearly a year on from their two-track ‘Every Day, All Day’ EP, Leicester-born brothers Sonny and Finn Murphy return to the label for more house heat right in the thick of their LAWLESS UK TOUR, while recent releases on Ilario Alicante’s Sound D’Elite showcase their current groove-led sound. 
Up-and-coming Manchester DJ/producer Sam Curran has received strong support from Jones with two outings on sister-label Hottrax and his BBC Radio 1-backed ‘Boogie Nights’ EP alongside House music legend Todd Terry on Paradise Music. In this exciting first-time collaboration, they are joined by Leeds-based talent and Till? label co-founder Harry Unsworth, who makes his first appearance on the label in the process. 

‘Proper Whopper’ brings booming low-ends that demand attention while soaring sirens and charismatic vocals build the track’s energy and pave the way for a thundering bassline to command dancefloors.

London-based DJ/producer Sidney Charles is back on Hot Creations with his latest three-track EP ‘Low End Theory’, set for release on 14th March. This marks Charles’ third release on Jamie Jones’ imprint, following his label debut in 2015 alongside Santé with ‘Forever’, and his recent remix of Black Hawks of Panama and Bisi’s ‘Nobody But You’. 

The EP begins with ‘Disco Bumping,’ a slick House cut that blends Aleya Mae’s lush vocals with Sidney’s warping sonic textures and immersive synth work. The title track, ‘Low End Theory,’ ushers in a deep, hypnotic state with its minimal, brooding groove and relentless bass that anchors the vibe. Closing with ‘We Keep On Groovin’, where skittering beats and smooth filters collide, creating a punchy, commanding energy that pulses with Sidney Charles’ distinctive style. 

A master of sophisticated House beats, Charles has established his reputation both behind the decks and in the studio. As the founder of House Heavy Society, he’s curated standout line-ups featuring Archie Hamilton, Prunk, and Kolter, with his label set to take over INPUT at OFF Sonar (Barcelona), The Loft (Manchester), and a USA tour in 2025. With a 15-year career built on releases with Solid Grooves, PIV, and Eastenderz, Sidney’s ‘Low End Theory’ marks the latest milestone in his unwavering output.

Dutch, Rotterdam-based DJ & Producer Stef Davidse is making his strides these days. His music travels the world with as many as 163 countries. His music is supported by big names like Jamie Jones, Archie Hamilton, Josh Baker, East End Dubs to name a few. As a young boy, he loved listening to electronic music but fell in love with house music in 2018. At the time making hip hop was his thing but that shifted to experimenting with house music on a daily basis. 

The music Stef is looking for can be described as rolling tunes with a recognisable bass and outstanding synths, which can be clearly heard in his productions and sets. Vocals, Synths and a rolling bass line are Stef's priorities. A jack-of-all-trades, Stef likes to explore different styles and push his musical boundaries. Stef believes that music is a universal language spoken by everyone. For Stef, the concept of music means unity and living in the moment.
