RASEREI 013 with Berlin based Codec 992 member TIKØA.

Inspired by Nina Kraviz's label трип, TIKØA became an integral part of Codec 992. After a few years of experience and working at the iconic Ohm, she developed her very own signature sound, which is characterized by straight techno influenced by the 90s, playful, rough and also very acid-heavy.

In collaboration with artists such as Buried Secrets, Henning Baer, Illnurse, Inhalt der Nacht, Matrixxman and Stanislav Tolkachev, the first releases on the label followed, which received numerous support from artists such as Adam Beyer, Chris Liebing, Dax J, Introversion, Parallx, Paula Temple, Rebekah and SHDW. Their show "Codec 992 Invites" on the southern German radio Wüste Welle, which has been around since 2019, also achieved a lot of recognition.

Paul Weck is a vinyl DJ from the “Niemandsland” collective, who has his roots in Stuttgart.
His obsession for vinyl and analog electronic music started withe the discovery of the legendary Herrensauna set by Hector Oaks and a 1210 standing in the living room of his childhood.
His true goal is to make his sound in some way indefinable. Showing the people new sound colors and rhythms, creating spaces and atmospheres with sound and fill them with moving bodies.

Whiplash - is a young upcoming artist. She’s quickly become a resident DJ at OSM Tapes Event Series and the A&R for upcoming premieres and podcasts. Ever since early childhood she’s been keen to dig into as many facets of music as possible. Her sound is a multi blended construction, heavily influenced by the early EBM and 80’s Post- Punk movement. She also likes to incorporate techno, dirty electro elements and Dark-Wave touches in her DJ sets, in order to create a rich, multidimensional soundscape.

The main idea behind this compilation was to give our artists the freedom to create something outside of their usual habits of production and sound. Somet- hing they normally wouldnt produce. Think outside the box and create something new. With this idea the Schimmer resident artists created something special and new, maybe nothing functional to play in a set, but something to listen to closely. This ten track album is an intern project in which everything was allowed - from ambient to breakbeat and jungle
- it opened up doors of creativity and freedom in our production. Many particles create a wave, but one can’t.
