Raw Cacao has been honored and worshiped by indigenous people for thousands of years. Up until the 18th century they were using cacao as a sort of currency equal to gold and they refer to cacao as “food of the gods”. It was and still today is held sacred not only for its amazing health benefits but also as a “medicine of the heart”. They call it “Mama Cacao” because of the loving and nurturing feeling that arises when a ceremonial cup of cacao has been savoured. Mayan elders and other indigenous tribes from around the globe believe that the plant is alive and has a spirit that is here with the intention to help us to open our hearts and to be more loving and gentle and to remind us of our connection to nature and spirit and the sacredness of life. There is a legend among them , like a prophecy that says “Whenever the earth and humanity are going through great shifts  and transformations the spirit of cacao will emerge to support and assist by guiding the people back into their hearts to know the truth within and to heal confusion and trauma caused by false beliefs and disconnection from source and our essence.  Everyone who has experienced a cacao ceremony has gotten a sense of the gentle and loving energy and spirit of “Mama Cacao” and the joy and healing she brings to the world.

The NUMA tribe loves this plant so much and we are so infinitely grateful for all the hearts that have been opened, wounds and traumas that have been healed, dances that have been danced, and love and connection that has been shared thanks to the magical weavings of this beautiful plant medicine.

THEA HANN who is part of the LUCID tribe – a collective for conscious and sacred gatherings in Berlin -  has her own story and love affair with the sacred medicine and expressed her gratitude in the form of a wonderful song. When she reached out to us to share this beautiful offering we were instantly enchanted and truly excited and grateful that this prayer song has found its way to us because Cacao is such an integral part of our life and has been and keeps supporting and nourishing us on so many levels.

In addition to the acoustic and pure original version of the song the EP features 2 remixes. 

Intiche created a sonic reflection of his own personal connection and experiences with the sacred plant. To honor the different heritages of Cacao around the world Intiche used traditional instruments from countries where cacao is growing like Indonesian bamboos and gamelan, percussion maracas from Peru and Ecuador and rainmakers from Bolivia. By changing the tempo into double time halfway through the track Intiche wants to make us feel the playful atmosphere that the medicine can bring to us “ and make us going deep and at the same time dance and let it go wild...”

Me and Maywa were also invited to rework Thea's Song and with great joy we created our sweet magical journey guided by the Mama herself (we drank plenty of cacao in the process ;) 
Maywa added her powerful shamanic icaro medicine, our friend and dear brother Daniel Mora from Costa Rica is playing native costa rican flutes and I painted a colorful tapestry of sonic bloom to express the joy, aliveness and love that mama cacao has shown me within myself and that I can now experience every day all around me in the costa rican jungle.

We hope that this release will serve as a prayer and gift to honor this wonderful medicine. May it support to strengthen our connection to nature and compassion for others and ourselves. May it  be a soundtrack to our ceremonies, ecstatic dances, breath work sessions and celebrations of all kinds.

THEA HANN - Mama Cacao (ALUNA Revision)

Since there is a lot of fear and confusion on the planet right now and so much information and so many different agendas out there it can be hard to figure out the truth. That's why we created this sound healing journey and guided meditation to help you activate your "3rd Eye" and be able to tune into your internal truth and wisdom. Your higher self is the only authority you should listen to, because it knows what's right for you. Your truth might be completely different from the truth of someone else. Only YOU know what's good for you. Start listening again and TRUST your inner wisdom. Your intuition will guide you through the storm. One step at a time.

About the journey:
We used a sound healing concept called "Planetary Tunings" or "The Cosmic Octave" as a foundation for this Sound Journey. Its a way of re-attuning with the cosmos that creates balance and harmony within. Each energy center is resonated by a different planet. And based on their rotational movement a frequency can be calculated based on the formula of the cosmic octave by Hans Cousto. The 3rd Eye Chakra - The energy center that governs our ability to see the truth and have a clear mind and see a bigger picture or reality is resonated by the planet Venus.

The Venus tone regulates the Balance between intellect and intuition.
"Venus is the second inner planet of our solar system and its rotation around the sun lasts about 225 days. In the 32nd octave the Venus tone oscillates with 221.23 Hz, that is an A. The tone of the Venus activates the third Eye and lets in a great flow of love energy and promotes inner harmony."

We also added a 4.5 Hz Binaural Beat which entrains the brain into a state of "Shamanic Consciousness". We believe that this state makes you more receptive to receive the information of your higher self.

And we also added sounds of dolphins and whales, who are wisdom keepers of ancient knowledge and highly intelligent and telepathic beings.

And Maywa has channeled specific frequencies to support the intention.

We highly recommend to listen on headphones for the best experience. Make sure to be in comfortable setting while listening. And for the maximum effect listen at least 21 days in a row. That's the time the brain needs to integrate new information into new habits and behaviors. Your intuition is like a muscle that needs daily practice, the practice of allowance, presence and listening within.

Guided Meditation - Awaken Inner Guidance And Intuition (Venus Frequency & 4.5 Hz Binaurals)

What is a Sonic Activation?

A Sonic Activation is a guided meditation that contains healing frequencies and brainwave entrainment frequencies to amplify the intention of the guided journey and to help the listener to attune with and therefore attain his natural state of harmonic resonance and alignment.

For this particular Journey the following frequencies are contained:

Binaural Beats: 13 Hz

Alpha Brainwave for deep relaxtion, Intuition and Creativity
Also associated with a state of peace, well being and being in the present moment.

The Carrier Wave for the Binaural Beats is 111 Hz which is an
ancient sacred frequency, they discovered a cave in malta that
resonates at that frequency.     
   
Findings of MRI scans suggest that at exactly 111hz, the brain
switches off the prefrontal cortex, deactivating the language centre, and temporary switches from left to right-sided dominance ,

this frequency is also a solfeggio harmonic, all solfeggio frequencies are exactly 111 Hz apart from each other and 111Hz relates to the note "A" in the solfeggio tuning.

Solfeggio Frequencies:

396 Hz which relates to the root-chakra and support in releasing fear,
stress and anxiety and it also assists in calming down the  nervous
system.

528 Hz which resonates and stimulates the DNA and supports with DNA Activation and re-programming of the subconscious mind.

The Binaural Beats are modulated onto 111 Hz, a Solfeggio Harmonic that is supporting us to get into a meditative state and that switches our brain activity from the rational left brain into the intuitive right brain.

About the Track:

This track was created with the intention to capture the frequency of Excitement. Excitement itself is a frequency that we can resonate at and that can be found everywhere in nature. It is an internal guidance system pointing to the magnetic north of our souls deepest desires. Since I started following my heart and acting only on what truly excites me, my life has changed profoundly. I find myself more fullfilled, happy, inspired and free then ever before while in the past there was a time where I tried to fit in, trying to be someone I am not and pleasing everyone without honoring my own feelings, needs and desires. I hope this track inspires the listener to find out what excites them the most and to act on that passion and to trust that abundance and joy will be the reward for the courage.

We are proud to present you our second compilation from the south of the world, this time featuring artists living or that used to live near volcanoes. Steffen Ki - Baila Con Fuego [Quinto Fuego]

For those of you who resonate with the Mayan Dreamspell Calendar or want to tune into the frequencies for the upcoming cycle from Feb 17 to March 2nd 2022 I have created a Sonic Activation.

This Sound Healing Journey is created with the intention to help you align, activate and balance your chakras using specific healing frequencies and sound healing instruments like tuning forks, singing bowls and gongs to enhance and amplify your healing intentions.

With this template I created a journey for each chakra, starting with the Root Chakra going all the way up to the Crown Chakra. A chime sound indicates the transition to the next chakra. You can intuitively feel into how to work with this Sound Healing Journey but one example would be to breathe into the specific chakra visualizing the color it represents and on the inhale you breathe in new fresh energy and on the exhale you visualize old and blocked energy leaving the chakra. Your breath and imagination are very powerful tools to faciliate change and healing in your life. Please make sure to drink plenty of water after the sound journey to help the integration and cleansing process.

The PLANETARY CHAKRA HEALING TEMPLATE was created in collaboration with the Sound Therapist and Electronic Music Producer Evelin Ludwig aka EVENARIS. Evelin provided high quality studio recordings of her planetary tuned sound healing instruments like Tuning Forks, Gongs, Monochord,, Crystal Bowls and Tibetan Bowls.

Planetary Tuning goes back to the discovery of the Swiss Mathematician and Music Scientist Hans Cousto who calculated the frequencies of the planets within our solar system and by using the principle of the "Cosmic Octave" translated them into a Tone, Frequency, Tempo and Tuning that we can apply to tune instruments and create healing sounds and meditative music that has a harmonizing effect. Sound Healing instruments some of which were used for this template like Gongs, Tuning Forks and Singing Bowls are produced tuned to the frequencies based on his calculations.

We based our template on those calculations by Hans Cousto:

Heart Chakra: Earth Year 136.10 Hz, Tone "C#" Tuning 432.10 Hz Tempo 63.8 Bpm

Throat Chakra: Mercury 141.27 Hz, Tone "C#" Tuning 448.51 Hz Tempo 66.2 Bpm

3rd Eye Chakra: Venus 221.23 Hz, Tone "A" Tuning 442.46 Hz Tempo 103.7 Bpm

Crown Chakra: Platonic Year 172.06 Hz Tone "F" Tuning 433.56 Hz Tempo 80.60 Bpm

So each Chakra has its specific tuning, tone, frequency and tempo and all the instruments and sounds are tuned and timed accordingly to achieve a maximum of harmonic resonance atonement.

Nils Noa is back on his own label with a terrific remix that once again shows off his musical maturity, while Germany’s Steffen Kirchhoff also serves up a superbly deep remix.

Noa’s always atmospheric dance style comes on both underground imprints and big major labels and earned him the honour of being one of the youngest ever artists to do an Essential Mix on Radio 1. Next to being a promoter at The Villa in Oslo where he books international talent, he himself is an ever busier DJ with a unique style in the booth.

His remix of Amazone Ensemble’s ‘Native Force’ is a brilliantly weighty one with dubbed out drums that drop with real funk. Chopped up tribal vocals get you on your toes and whirring bird calls and colourful chords all bring an outdoorsy feel that make this one perfectly timed for summer terrace parties.

Steffen Kirchhoff meanwhile has released on the likes of Cosmic Awakenings, Drossel & Casa Caos and has an evocative and tender style. His tracks contain organic and spiritual elements like shamanic drums, holy chants and field recordings that reflect the beauty of nature. Here he turns in a stunning version of Nils Noa & Mari Boine’s ‘No Duohta’ that is beautifully deep. It has spine tingling vocals that are whispered but make a real impact, while swaying mid tempo house drums roll below.  I created a piece of music for each frequency and blended them into a seamless mix using these frequencies from low to high:

" 174 Hz – The lowest of the tones appears to be a natural anaesthetic. It tends to remove pain physically , energetically as well as karmic energy. 174 Hz frequency gives your organs a sense of security, safety and love, motivating them to do their best.

285 Hz – This tone is useful when treating wounds, cuts, burns or any other form of damaged tissue. 285 Hz Solfeggio Frequency is said to be directly connected to our body´s, mind and soul´s blueprint for optimal health and physical wellbeing, due to its amazing ability to remember what should be and to return cells to its original form. This Sound Healing Journey was recorded with loving intentions during the “Blue Full Moon” 31st Oct. 2020 the night of Samhain to offer a tool for inner peace, to release fear and anxiety, activate the self healing abilities and calm down the nervous system as well as activate cosmic codes - and therefore dorment potential - in our DNA.

This journey is a sonic alchemy between ancient and modern sound healing technologies.

It contains recordings of classical sound healing instruments like Crystal Bowls, Tuning Forks and a Shamanic Drum as well as cutting edge frequency modulation synthesis and binaural brainwave entrainment to allow for deep relaxation, realignment and healing.

This sonic attunement uses binaural beats and a theta wave tuning fork to entrain the brain into a “Theta Brainwave State”.

The “Theta state vibrates between 4 – 7,5Hz and is associated with deep meditation, intuitive receptivity, healing and relaxation as well as enhanced creative abilities and profound insights.

The Shamanic Drum supports to ground and connect with the earth.

7 crystal bowls attuned to the resonance frequencies of the main energy centres of the body (“chakras”) are played simultaniously to activate and balance the energy flow in those centres. This can allow stagnant energy to flow and remove energy blockages.
