This mix was recorded live at Hoppetosse Berlin on Sunday, at the unofficial "New Kids On Acid" after hours, where I spontaneously and totally unexpectedly accepted to take over the party. I didn't have my records with me, as I wasn't booked for the party, so I ended up playing for 8 hours from my USB key I had in my wallet. We finished at 1pm on Monday. Despite some sloppy mixes I decided to upload the whole recording, only the last 3 h are missing- unfortunately the recorder stopped earlier then the party :)

Driven by rolling loops, toned with a groovy melodic feel. It soon becomes hard not to dance. Remixes include Donna Summer – Hot Stuff, Milky Way Remix, and a remix of fellow producer Argy.

Community is everything at Nowadays. The Brooklyn space is a focal point of New
York’s electronic scene, known as a second home to a talented group of local resident DJs, as well as a large number of the city’s LGBTQ+ clubbers. In addition to the indoor floor pictured, the venue
spans a larger outdoor terrace (home to the club’s much-loved Mister Sunday series through the summer) and a restaurant called Diner by the Izakaya, and with a rare 24-hour licence, the biggest parties can often stretch well into the following day. 

To represent the sound of the club, DJ Voices laid down an atmospheric set of broken club rhythms,
jungle and more.

At Robert Johnson, heroes of the Frankfurt techno scene like Roman Flügel and Ricardo Villalobos are key sources of inspiration for an exciting new wave of DJs and producers. All of these artists love playing at the understated Offenbach spot for two reasons: firstly there’s the sound, which is among the best we’ve heard anywhere in the world. And once the sun starts to appear behind the River Main, there’s almost nowhere that matches the intimate early morning vibe at Robert Johnson. 

Robert Johnson resident O-Wells prepared a three-hour mix for us spanning uplifting house, bass-heavy club hitters, definitive electro and more.

Club der Visionaere is one of Berlin’s most beloved dancing spots. Hidden along a canal by Treptower Park, it’s widely regarded as the German capital’s HQ for reduced house and techno alongside its neighbouring sister venue Hoppetosse. Whenever we’re in Berlin we usually while away hours drifting between the deck and tiny dancefloor, something that’s made easy by an open end curfew, and the hypnotic tunes that roll out of the club’s speakers.

Hello everyone. This is my set from the legendary Block 9 area of Glastonbury festival on the insane Genosys stage. I was so nervous before i had to play here that night. It was possibly the most intense feeling knowing how many people were out in front of this stage. Which looked like something out of Mad Max. I was just a tint dot at the bottom. When i finished and heard the roar of the crowd i actually cried a tiny bit. I have been coming to this festival since 1996 & then when i got up to the view point after i was done i looked out and saw an endless sea of people. Probably the biggest crowd i played to. It was a moment i'll never forget. Now we can all listen back to it. 3 years ago. It's a shame it's not happening this year on the 50th anniversary but i'll be playing for this stage again on their virtual platform across all the Dj Mag outlets.
