I listened to a lot of music during this difficult time and in this current situation, but I often lacked the inner drive to be able to express myself with it, or even to want to. 
In the last few days, I have found a way to capture my emotions.

Mind Crash - Life On Planet 361X13 (01/21) Dj Set

Steffi*, also known as "Mind Crash," calls Bremen his home and has been involved in the techno scene since late 2009. It was at this time that he was introduced to the subcultural club project ZUCKER, which sparked his passion for underground raves and DJing. Slowly but surely, he began to make a name for himself in the local scene, supporting underground events and eventually becoming a resident DJ at ZUCKER CLUB. He also collaborated closely with AUDITIVE, a Bremen-based vinyl label, and organized regular, in-depth label parties.

From 2010 to 2014, he also worked part-time as a booker for Lightplanke Club and its eponymous after-hours bar. 
After becoming part of the highly successful party series "heimlich" by Bebetta and Le Palf, his gigs expanded nationally. He had the opportunity to play at clubs and festivals such as Fusion, Wilde Möhre, Keller Club, Sisyphos, Kater Blau, and Salon Zur Wilden Renate.

In 2014, Steffi moved to Berlin to gain a deeper understanding of the scene and its clubs, as well as to participate in events. On the recommendation of a good friend, he attended one of the first Zugvøgel Festivals near Cologne in 2016 and was immediately captivated by the independent work and creativity of the organizers. From that moment on, he decided to support this project with passion.

In 2021, he decided to retire his artist name "Mind Crash" and established Steffi* as his definitive main identity. 

Around the same time, he also joined the Partiklub collective—a crew of friends, hedonists, and DJs who don’t take themselves too seriously and do everything out of love for the club and the music. Community is at the heart of what they do.

Steffi* musical preferences as a DJ are characterized by his love for deep, emotional, and especially melancholic music, as well as hypnotic, driving, and dramatically powerful sounds. Since the beginning of his career, he has aimed to combine these characteristics into a recognizable style, which sometimes makes him a secret weapon..especially for the early morning hours, after-hours, or closing sets in clubs or at festivals. His greatest motivation has always been to develop a distinctive and authentic sound in his DJ sets.

Having finally reached this point, his desire for musical diversity was still far from satisfied. This led him to pursue a new challenge with the project "NAOZOU", following his passion for downtempo and especially techno—clearly expressing his influences from psytrance as well. The techno sound in particular reveals his affinity for hypnotic and psychedelic sound elements, sometimes powerful and pressing, sometimes dry and driving.
