Vielschichtige Melodien, perfekt auf die ekstatischen Frequenzen deiner Seele gestimmt. Ultra-fette Basslines, die dich mitreißen wie ein transdimensionaler Mahlstrom. Genau dein Ding? Dann ist das hier wie gemacht für dich! Als soundcloud.com/hollynorth sich entschied, eine gewisse Portion Dampf hinter seine langjährige klassische musikalische Ausbildung zu geben, hat er damit für begeistertes Aufhorchen auf der Tanzfläche gesorgt. Jetzt liefert der junge Produzenten-Heißsporn und Liveact sein Debütalbum ab. Es hört sich an wie ein lebendiges Klangwesen, das durch immer neue Entwicklungsstadien morpht und sich dabei auf organische Weise immer wieder neu und anders anhört. Deshalb wird es seinem Titel voll und ganz gerecht: Odyssey. Beschreibungen wie Melodic Techno oder Melodic House und ein Nicken in Richtung des harmonischen Wirkungsprinzips von Trance geben uns eine Idee, aber eben doch nur einen unvollständigen Eindruck. Wer das volle Erlebnis möchte, muss sich schon selbst auf diese epische Odyssey begeben!

Die Vorstellung von klatschenden Ostseewellen im Rücken, Meereswind im verwuschelten Haar und ewige Weite, sofern das Auge reicht, sorgt für das perfekte Ambiente für diese Afterhour.

I have been attending this festival for almost 5 years now. I have felt at home from the very beginning. Together with these wonderful people, I have walked the path to get here. To experience this project, to see how it grow and feel as a part of it and develop personally with it is an indescibable feeling. 
I feel nothing but infinite gratitude. 
This year I have again received huge trust and the honor to play the closing set of my favorite festival!

Unfortunately, the full 6hrs of my closing wasn´t recorded, so I decided to upload only the first half. 
Thanks to everyone who made this monday so special for me.
Thanks to the gorgeous weather... I also bangedout some sunshine music, but the typical melancholic steffi-sound didn´t come to short. ;)

Mind Crash - Closing Set @ Zugvøgel Festival 2021

This is the finest selection of my 4 hours set at Sisyphos “Nichtgeburtstag 02.10.2021” on maybe the last sunny days before autumn/winter season took over. What a day, what an experience! I loved every minute of it which is why I decided to record at least a part of that set for you. 
The tracks are an inspiration from many amazing artists, of great events, festivals and weddings (love you, Dangerbirts!) of this magical summer. 
I chose the tracks that defined my summer 2021 in Berlin.

Another milestone achieved! 

Super happy to present to you, my recording from the legendary club Kater Blau in Berlin. Just under 2 hours of pure joy and playfulness. Just jumping in after my partner in crime Klaudia, I wanted to continue with the energy that she kept throughout her set. Had a great time playing until the sun started shining again. Also, what an honour to be part of such a well decorated lineup with artists I've been idolising for almost a decade!

Steffi*, also known as "Mind Crash", calls Bremen his home and has been involved in the techno scene since late 2009. It was at this time that he was introduced to the subcultural club project, ZUCKER, which sparked his passion for underground raves and DJing. Slowly but surely, he began to make a name for himself in the local scene, supporting underground events and eventually becoming a resident DJ at ZUCKER CLUB. He also collaborated closely with AUDITIVE, a Bremen-based vinyl label, and organized regular, in-depth label parties.

In 2011, Steffi* was invited to join the party series "Heimlich," founded by Bebetta & Le Palf, which has since become one of the most popular parties in Bremen. Meanwhile, he had the opportunity to play in various clubs and festivals across Germany, such as Fusion, Wilde Möhre, Keller Club, Sisyphos, Kater Blau, Salon Zur Wilden Renate, and his current favorite venue, Zugvøgel Festival.

In 2014, Steffi moved to Berlin to gain a deeper understanding of the scene and its clubs and to participate in events. It was on the recommendation of a good friend that he attended one of the first Zugvøgel Festivals in 2016 and was immediately captivated by the independent work and creativity of the organizers. He made the decision to support this project with passion from that moment on.

Steffi's musical preferences as a DJ are characterized by his love for deep, emotional, and particularly melancholic music, as well as hypnotic, driving, and dramatic powerful music. Since the beginning of his career, he has aimed to combine these characteristics into a recognizable style, which sometimes makes him a secret weapon, especially for morning hours, afterhours, or closing sets in clubs or at festivals.
