Stephanie “Stef.n.e” Cantu, was born and raised in Colorado Springs, CO. Her family noticed her great musical talent at a young age, and began her journey in dance training at the age of three, Voice Lessons by the age of six, and Piano Lessons by the age of seven. The dance training consisted of Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Acro, Folkorico, Hip Hop, Free Style, Broadway, and Contemporary. During 
the next ten years, Stef.n.e competed in the National Piano Playing Guilds, and eventually earned the achievement and privilege of becoming a National Member of the American College of Musicians in 1998. Moreover, in 1998, Stef.n.e. was challenged to compete in the Sonatina Festival for the State of Colorado, and after great dedication was presented with the first place standing. Additionally, Stef.n.e. competed in Solo & Ensemble contests over a ten year span, competing in Voice, Piano, and Dance, earning numerous first place achievements. Stefn.e. began to accept lead roles in Musicals such as; Grease, Guys & Dolls, The Sound of Music, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Blazerella, Annie, and 100 Years of Broadway. She seemed to be on a journey of music and artistry, but had no idea of what would come next. 

Though it seemed as if Stef.n.e. was making a great start in life with music, and the performing arts, she arrived at a point in her life where she felt lonely, secluded, and just desperate to have a social life. Loneliness slowly consumed her life, and Stef.n.e. eventually let go of her love for music to involve herself with the wrong crowd and bad influences. She faced several years of drought, pressing, and reformation. After a time of tribulation, Stef.n.e came to know her creator and savior at the age of fourteen. Through many life changing experiences, Stef.n.e. started searching for even more from her newfound God, and began her journey as a Praise and Worship leader for her church in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Mentor after mentor, experience after experience Stef.n.e evolved into a powerful and anointed Praise & Worship Director. Meanwhile, Stef.n.e. met her husband at a Praise & Worship Service in 1999, fell in love and soon married her soul mate Joseph Cantu. A new chapter and journey began, new reformation trials, tribulations, testing, and sufferings awaited their marriage and faith. Over the next 18 years, Stef.n.e and Joseph started their family with three beautiful sons and one daughter. Joseph was ordained as a Pastor in 2002 with Stef.n.e.’s firm support at his side. Again a new journey awaited them, as God would mold, shape, even chisel Stef.n.e and Joseph into humble servants, and God fearing ministers of the Kingdom Of God. 

In the midst of these times of trial and reformation, songs of experience and encouragement began to surface in Stef.n.e.'s heart. She found herself writing inspirational songs out of these experiences, in order to encourage others who might face difficulty and hard times in their lives. 

It is Stef.n.e.’s prayer that the inspiration and encouragement of her music will eventually have an open door into the nations, and act as a voice of hope for those who have lost hope in their lives. Through the many experiences and triumphs, Stef.n.e. and the inspiring music she delivers, promises to be an effective answer to those seeking passion for life and faith.
