A very fun, Strauss style waltz from Stefador's powerfully moving Diary Suite.

Added to the Diary Suite in 2008, this piece signifies the one bright and positive page of an otherwise dark and miserable diary. In contrast to the rest of the Diary Suite, the Grand Valse stands out and intentionally is not meant to belong, making it instantly recognizable.

This track, composed in early 2014, is a very different style to what my piano works are usually like. Focusing on progressing chords, this piece is an endurance piece for the hands, a study. Fun to play, but not too fast!

Adagio for Strings "Forgotten" is an experimental piece for String orchestra intended for use with film. (Inspired by 'Schindler's List') It explores the 'Call-and-Response' technique among similar instruments, complex chord progressions and interchangeable themes.

This one was written in 2010, and still I wonder where it came from, as it's not my style at all! Originally written as the second movement to my 4th symphony, it became a stand-alone favorite after it was performed by the Surrey Hills Orchestra in 2011, then again by the Zelmann orchestra in 2012. The isolated version of the piece was performed again as you hear it now by the NSO in 2014, and described as 'Wind players fighting to get more playtime.' The aim of the piece was to experiment using a section of the orchestra other than the strings as the dominant. Even though this didn't really work well, it still created an interesting dynamic between the wind and string sections, with the brass coming in momentarily to round off the piece. I hope you enjoy!

'Morning' from 'The Diary' Orchestral Suite no. 3

Commissioned (But not used) for Culture Kids. A documentary surrounding the migration of young children from their homes. A soft piano riff accompanied by an even softer undertones single note gently fades away as dramatic strings and brass gradually takes hold of the score.

From the 'Waltzes and Etudes' album, 'ELEGY' (Nocturnal Waltz no. 26) is a more beautiful look at misery, depression and suffering. The haunting descending melody which opens the piece mimics a falling tear drop, over the familiar chord progression.(heard in Waltz no. 27)

My first etude for piano (Nicknamed 'Metronomic') was heavily inspired by Bach's presidium no. 2, also in C minor. It was written for a student experiencing difficulty moving their fingers.
