I recorded this song in my kitchen, using my own two hands and tons of  emotion. Each time I write or produce a song I learn something beautiful about myself in the process and with this being the first song I have ever written, co-produced AND engineered, I knew I was bound to learn something special. I sat in my kitchen alone for hours that turned to days, late at night, recording, listening, mixing, re-recording, and repeat with only my dog there to cheer me on.. It was in those long hours where I learned to truly accept and understand my voice and more importantly, myself for who I am, what I can do, and even what I cannot yet do. (But I'll sure as hell learn)
With acceptance and understanding, came love. 

I am Stephanie Perkins, and I can write, produce, and record a kick ass song because that is who I am, that is what defines me, and that is what I was made for.

SO, with that being said, here is a piece of my heart to hold onto until new single, Kiss My Ass is released on all major streaming platforms this summer, followed by my very first EP.
