Mary Dalakou wrote her own unique story in Greek song, as the muse of Yannis Markopoulos, in the recordings of the album "Theseus" (1963) as well as in the soundtracks of the films "Diogmos" and "Psarogiannos", while under his direction, she will appear before the E.I.R.'s Variety Music Orchestra in 1965, performing her own and modern repertoire. As one of the pioneer songwriters of Neo Kyma, she participated in bands in Plaka from the first days of its existence, while together with Spyros Kampanis they will found the Apanemia boite, writing their own history in the narrow alleys of Plaka. At the same time, she will begin recording her first demos at Polysound studio, with the participation of a multitude of distinguished musicians, such as :
Nikos and Giorgos Tzavaras, voices, guitars
Vangelis Ntikos, acoustic guitar
Stamatis Protopappas, flute
Andreas Flyskounis, flute
Bourboulia: Nikos Tsilogiannis on drums, Vasilis Dallas on bass, Johnny Lambitsi on electric guitar.

Georgos Lavranos, percussion
Gerasimos Miliaresis, classical guitar
creating her repertoire either on original material or on unique arrangements of traditional songs, both Greek and English. Always restless, she will participate in the 2nd Greek Song Competition of Corfu in 1982, submitting 2 songs, while 3 years later, with a rock band consisting of :
Grigoris Melakis, drums
Vagias Naoumis, electric bass
David Grunstein, keyboard
Mary Dalakou, voice, piano
she will record the album "After the performance" in Loukas Thanos' studio.”

C LACRAIA ESTIVESSE VIVA

“Lacraia, também conhecida como “centopeia”, são animais caçadores noturnos muito rápidos que possuem o corpo adaptado para penetrar em frestas, onde se escondem durante o dia.” 

Com a constante eliminação das existências não-normativas do planeta, pensar na artista Lacraia é lembrar de umas das primeiras figuras pretas e não normativas na TV brasileira, um choque da não cisgenesis que invadiu a vida de todas as pessoas nos anos 2000, onde as narrativas heteronormativas ocupavam (e ainda ocupam) todos os espaços possíveis. Espaços formados por estruturas binárias de comportamento que se fincaram em muitas almas, uma geração que dava muita importância a um projeto de liberdade a partir das vestes, culturas, comportamentos e estéticas, graças à revolução digital que influenciou todos os continentes.

Precisamos imediatamente apoiar artistas vives, e interromper os processos de santificação das pessoas TLGBQI+, pessoas que não escolheram a morte, e sim foram condicionadas a interromper a sua existência por conta da estrutura de humanidade em que habitamos.

Entenda que tudo que foge de uma engrenagem binária, não é bem-vinde.
TRANS, não vivem lugares de binariedade.
BIXAS, não vivem lugares de binariedade.

Será que em pleno 2020 não estamos caindo e vivendo nos mesmos sistemas excludentes? Abraçando a verdadeira miséria, e beijando o antagonismo das representatividades TLGBQI+?!
