I haven't been here for a while. I've been making loads of music. Most of the tracks aren't quite finished. I like to jump from one to the next. This one is about done though.

Afterlife

I have a song called These Pipes. I recorded it again with some changes. I do this occasionally. Sometimes it comes out better. I think this track is complete now. I feel it was unfinished before.

Rue Trails (Trainwreck Version)

A hazy song I recorded in 2009 in a big room; an old school converted into modern apartments. A man I met in Seattle said it sounded like Gypsy music. He always asked me to play it. He had a tattoo right across his face.

Ten Of The Same

This is the fuzzy melting man! I used a lo-fi guitar and a Korg synth for the synthy bits. The keyboard had water spilt on the pitch bend which caused it to glitch and constantly be half a step higher than it should. I still haven't had that fixed. 

Dopework

I used to live in a detached house. The majority of the day I spent alone. I could make as much noise as I wanted and nobody could hear. This is something I miss.

A different approach to "Everybody Comes Out The Floor". At one stage I felt that a song would develop and change shape until recorded, when at which point it was set in stone and would remain like that - then I discovered that was the perfect way to get bored of my own songs so now I continue to develop them and here is an example.

Another song from my forthcoming album that still remains titleless at this point. This one appeared in very rough form on Trainwreck and has since been improved in many ways.

This is probably the catchiest song I have ever recorded. It's pure pop.
