Canto Rodado is a type of stone that has been worn smooth by erosion; or even moved to another place by a river or glacier. One of those that can be found near a lake or in the middle of a desert.
In her recordings of acoustic instruments like a very old Piano, a nylon-string guitar, a trumpet and a Tibetan bowl ideas become their own subject, striving for their very own uniqueness. Like in a dialectic process the recordings took their own identity, searching for their uniqueness, rather that merely supporting.
Structures erode and eventually become something new.
Time will be the water that shapes noises to become melodies.

The Huli are believed to have laid down roots in Papua New Guinea as far back as 45,000 years ago. Most of the Huli people are from the town of Tari, and many still live according to the traditional ways. “The Huli men are famous for their unique custom of creating and wearing impressive wigs decorated with feathers. They also wear bright facial paint in red, yellow and white — colors originally chosen to strike fear into their enemy in times of conflict. Nowadays, they usually wear them to sing and dance.”. The so-called Wigmen make their wigs out of their own hair and weave them with feathers from the island’s 700 bird species. Each feather carries its own symbolic meaning (such as strength and courage). “The forest in which we live is essential to us. It provides for all our needs, it is sacred, and I would do anything in my power to protect it,” writes Mundiya Kepanga, a 53-year-old Huli Wigman, “I hope that by helping people to better understand my culture, they will also respect our environment.”                                                                                                                    This is the new Shango Records compilation entitled “A Wigmen Town Called Tari”. What is state of mind? 
When we try to respond to this question, the answer may at first seem easy. Is it?

We fail to put our finger on a clear definition of the state of mind, we sometimes get around this failure, using a simple trick we call "adjectives": words that designate an attribute of a noun.

By following this trick, a state of mind can be described as "relaxed", "loving", "inattentive", etc... This is a trick that gives us the possibiltiy to come up with infinite eidetic variations, without ever getting to the core of all the complexity of the phenomenon.

Sometimes, we try to describe it as the similarities that we share with eachother, like an umbrella, a concept of life, an ideal. 
Although one's state of mind might be called "equal" to that of another's, when both express similar interests or ways of approaching things, it is, deep down, as personal as it can be. The other is always, to some extent, alien.

Still, when we are lost for words, the music begins.
