"Three Ferns Walk Into a Zapotec Cantina"  A Polypodiopsidian Bebop Jam.

Three young ferns were plucked from the Southern Oaxaca Cloud Forest and auditioned at @steinguey Bio Data Sonification Studio / The result is this 3 min. excerpt of an hour's worth of micro-voltage-fluctuation-data harvest converted via a MOP U1 to a Musical Instrument Digital Interface via free software and a bit of sonic focus.  The ferns produce the melody and rhythm  
and trigger rhythm loops. Keep in mind: The piano and keyboards are being "played" by a fern like the one in the photo. All other instruments, loops and samples etc are being triggered by the same data stream.
