Tingles go through my spine and arms, you love him, and have so much respect for him, who wouldnt. :) He looks like he had such a kind heart, and you reflect that in your track, thats why i said there is so much love in this track, because i felt it at start.

I watched parts of the youtube, all I thought about was giving him a big Hug, all those years he spent alone, he deserved a companion, like every other person on Earth. I wish he had loads of neighbours at least, that he could socialize with, and have dinners and loads of laughing sessions with him. I hope he rests in Peace with Lots of LOVE.

Jakob Lindhagen - Första Snön

This one is hard to explain to non Icelanders,,,  I´ve been thinking a lot about the story of an old hermit here in Iceland called Gísli and he lived all his live in a isolated fjord without any modern comfort, no running water, no electricity no nothing.  There he spent most of his days and only on his deathbed did he travel away to a bigger town, to die, and there he probably experienced the most comfort he ever did experience,  in the hospital during his last days.

I just read a story written about his life,, a life full of disapointments, cause this man obviously was an artist. He tried to get close to arts when ever he could but times were tough and in the end he just accepted his fate and lived alone. What struck me was that during the tough winter months, without light, without heat, he just sat inside his house and waited for spring,  only to leave his house to take care of the sheep. During those dark days he though tried to enjoy his one luxury, a harmonium which a kind neighbour had taught him to play. So this hermit, without any luxury at all except coffee, enduring 5 months of winter each year used his spare time to play an instrument and write poems. 

This fact is mindblowing for me and makes me think of the shitheads here in Iceland, politicians that are talking down the arts. I don´t know....  

if you want to see a bit of how he lived, here is a video...   this video was shown in the icelandic TV when I was a kid and I still remember it,,,  had so much effect on me, and the whole nation.

Hey,
this year has been a journey—profoundly moving and filled with change, both in the world around us and in my own life. As an artist, I often find myself sitting at the piano with no clear plan, letting the music unfold on its own.

This time, something unexpected happened. I started playing in a major key—a rarity for me—and the piece turned out light, almost childlike. As I played, an unplanned memory popped into my mind: a little scene of riding my bike as a child. It’s strange how music can stir up such vivid, unexpected feelings. Has that ever happened to you?

Dear friends,

I’m excited to share “Once Upon A Time”, the first piece from my Music & Score Series. This composition has been with me for many years and remains a favorite—not just for me, but for many listeners. Every time I play it, it feels like embarking on a sentimental journey, a moment to drift away in thought.

Some of you have expressed interest in playing it yourselves, which truly makes me happy! That’s why I’m making the sheet music available for you. It’s a relatively easy piece to play but leaves plenty of room for emotion and personal interpretation.

Butterfly is a single presented in three distinct versions, each offering a unique perspective on one central musical idea.

The main track opens with a delicate Moog sequence that gradually blossoms into a flowing felt piano motif. This progression mirrors a metamorphosis—symbolizing the transformation from caterpillar to butterfly, both sonically and conceptually.

The two companion versions zoom in on the gentle piano theme. By shifting tempo and texture, they unfold into their own quiet spaces—each one intimate, warm, and introspective, offering a softer lens on the original idea.
